I trusted the rave reviews and was very disappointed. The key problem was that they did not cook what they had shown us prior to cooking. The sea bass was not fresh and was also over cooked. The bream was stale. Terrible way to do business. For the price, I expect much better quality of food. More

I went to Istanbul with my family .my friends told me best place to eat fish in Istanbul is Kumkapi and YENGEC restaurant.They were right.Igot good service and delicious food.Thank you YENGEC restaurant Iwill comeback again.From NEWYORK Elvis FERRUH. More

We wanted a quick, light lunch before a flight. Yengec was recommended by our friendly Historia Hotel staff, Suzan. Since it was " near but not easy to find", Suzan arranged transportation with Restaurant. This restaurant was first class - we ate here about four times and always had a very good meal. From sea bass to meat dishes. Good prices for food and drinks and a great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff.and owners of yengec restaurant thanx again greetings from umit More
