We ate here twice within a week during our stay in Istanbul. Convenient to the Blue Mosque and other major sites. Food was fresh, and service and presentation outstanding. Off a busy street in a quiet side street with a number of other restaurants. The lamb in a clay pot was great and the quite an experience in restaurant theater.

We just had dinner at Amedros Restaurant and it was fabulous! The menu selections are varied, including local favorites and international cuisine. Everything we had was out-standing. Equally wonderful was the service. Our waiter,Agit offered us thoughtful selections for wine and main entrees. He was attentive without being ingratiating (as was our experience at other restaurants), knowledgable about the menu,... More

We ducked into an alley off the main street and found this little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was wonderful and beautifully presented, and the prices were very good for the quality.

We were in Istanbul for 4 nights/5 days and visited this restaurant 4 times. Every dish we had was delicious and of good quality. We had pepper steak, Testi Kebab, lamb chops, an aubergine dish with minced meet and yoghurt and another aubergine dish (can't remember the name). Starters and desserts were also lovely. The staff were amazing and very... More

Visiting Istanbul for our first wedding anniversary is one of the best things that has ever happen to me. Even more to say, celebrating our anniversary dinner at the outstanding Amedros restaurant made it 100 times and even more better. From the second me and my husband chose to eat at Amedros after being recommended by a friend who had... More

Very good value for money, great food and service. We had Testi Kebab, which is chicken and lamb (am not sure if it was beef) cooked in a pottery vase on red hot charcoal. This was brought to our table in that way, the vase was then broken open by the waiter and the food was poured into a dish.... More

We know this charming restaurant since our first visit in Istanbul in 2012. We had lunch today, and the food and service are quite outstanding! We have been greeted and served by Agit, and we must say that everything was just excellent! We can highly recommend this restaurant without any doubt. Hope to come back soon!

This is a lively and enjoyable restaurant with above-average food. It offers Reasonably good value for money In the rather Overpriced Tourist district It is located in.
