I had the sea bream. The fish was beautifully cooked. The accompanying side salad was poor- no dressing, a thick slice of raw white onion, rocket leaves and tomato. Disappointing.

Very friendly, small local restaurant. Went there twice, the fish was fresh and service good. Prices were reasonable too. The stuffed octopus was excellent, I sold it to 4 other guests !

Yes, it's a tourist-friendly place amid many hotels. Lots of folks who travel frequently tend to be leery of such places. But I am here to attest that this restaurant really is fun, and its food is good, so it's a worthy contender for an informal dinner out in Sultanahmet. We ordered the house special, sea bass in a salt... More

I am always worried about restaurants in tourist areas. This surpassed all expectations, very welcoming staff, good wine and one of the best fish dishes anywhere. The sea bass in salt would have fed 4 easily, great flavour and excellent accompanying salad. First class.

After reading some of the reviews we had expected a small turkish restaurant away from the crowds! Instead we step into a tourist trap! Not one table with "locals" unless you would call the hotel guests from the surrounding hotels locals. The food was adequate: we shared the shepherds salad, then my daughter had the ansjovis, ok but not as... More

The furnishings are simple, the tables crowded, and the atmosphere when I was there was 'up' and happy. This was in keeping with the friendly service, and the easy give and take among patrons and servers. The food was excellent. There were unusual dishes on the menu, and I can recommend what I recall as a seafood casserole with cheese. Delicious.... More

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch after a trip to the Blue Mosque, I had the chicken kebab as I just wasn't in the mood for fish! My husband had the mixed fish casserole. The meal was OK we definitely had tastier food on our trip.

This smallish restaurant has outstanding service and all the seafood dishes we tried on two occasions were delicious and perfectly prepared. The restaurant location is an easy walk from the main attractions and close to the Bazaar without the noise and hustle.I would recommend this restaurant over several we tried near the waters edge that were over priced and lacked any...
