We met one of the nicest servers named Serhat (seen in pic) and ate at this restaurant twice in 4 days because of him. The chefs special was delicious and worth the money!

The restaurant is located in a relatively large alleyway that seems to be devoted to touristy restaurants, so the food isnt necessarily cheap here. But the food we had was very tasty, and the menu is composed of some traditional dishes as well as food catered to an international palette. Come here if you're visiting the Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque/Topkapi Palace... More

The food was below average and prices were really high. Meat we ordered was stale. Orange glass had stains. Service was average too. Would not recommend this place at all.

Returned to mozaik after a period of a year to find this restaurant is still one of the best in sultanahmet, staff are friendly and attentive, service was very good and the meals are excellent, even though the place was full you never get hassled to make way for new guests, very relaxed atmosphere, well worth a visit

Very delicious, I have travelled to Istanbul 3 times and every time I have visited this place. As the food is good and the service is great. Love all the vegetarian dishes bread and hummus come as complimentary

Delicious food with great environment. The staff are very polite and try to accommodate all my clients' needs. It was a very good choice for our dinner.

I had been in this restaurant a couple of years ago but forgot about it. So this time i went back and i wasn't disappointed at all. The restaurant is located very central in Sultanahmet area, you cannot miss it. I had a warm welcome from Alican at the door and picked myself my table outside, where there is heating.... More

We went for diner to this place, recommended by our hotel. The food was good but no better than any other neighboring restaurant that we went too, we choose an indoor sitting as the wether was a bit chilly. The service was extremely slow, we had to wait up to 30 minutes between dishes... and the price was above the... More

We visited this restaurant on our first evening of our trip to Istanbul and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food - the service was also brilliant. Most of the restaurants have salesman outside them trying to get you in and this restaurant is no different; however, on nights we didn't eat here and walk past, the staff accepted our choice... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
