Yes, this is the ex office of Sri Lanka's most renowned architect- Bawa. The place to see and be seen. The cool aloof staff glide silently to deliver meticulous service. Our coffee was perfect. I didn't eat there but the food looked great. It's on my list of must go back to places in the world. Partly I admit, because... More

Food in the cafe was amazing. so tasty. Cocktails didn't disappoint and the mains we ordered were class and full of flavour. It was a special last night dinner for us so we were happy to pay a bit extra, but its not a the thrifty traveller. There is the gallery, and I would say check it out. classy stuff... More

Great food, beautiful decor, a real treat. But....it isn't air-conditioned! We really enjoyed our meals here. Like most places in Sri Lanka, no aircon - probably fine for locals and expats, who are used to it, but it was warm. Don't get too dressed up - you will perspire. (Issue with wine being charged at a higher price than on... More

I used to frequent this place a few years ago and never was disappointed. It seems something has changed.. the staff isn't friendly any longer and the food is average at best. Guys - this is Sri Lanka.. land of heavenly food.. you cannot serve mediocre quality.. there are so many better places now to eat in Colombo.. sorry, Gallery... More

I had dinner tonight in that place which is really beautiful and pleasant. I love it. The food was really tasty, the desserts are gorgeous and the service is professional for a reasonable bill. Highly recommended.

Service, food and atmosphere all great. We came for Sunday lunch, the restaurant was quiet and welcoming. Really enjoyed all aspects of the experience. Would recommend.

I along with 3 other friends headed here at around 10 at night for some desserts, after a hearty meal at the Ministry of Crabs. There was a wide variety of stuff to select from, and all of which cost from LKR 600 - 800 on average, which was pretty standard for this kind of desserts everywhere in the world.... More

The ambiance hasn't changed much since my last visit, great decor and lighting. The food is still excellent though relatively highly priced. I certainly didn't feel like I paid too much considering the quality. However the service was a real let down. It was raining but the security guard who had two umbrellas in his hand didn't bother accompanying us... More

Also the most expensive, but the double-chocolate cheesecake is truly divine. Two people can easily share it. And the ambience is fantastic as well. Make this a must-visit stop in Colombo. There;s some great art to look at as well.

This place has a unique ambience about it. The candlelit theme and the steel make for a interesting dining experience. The food is excellent, albeit quite pricy. Not the place you can go to regularly, but a good choice for a special occasion. I would recommend the risotto marinara and the homemade jaggery ice cream sundae which is just marvelous.
