Please don't miss this wonderful pub. Basic but good food, wonderful break from 5 star stuffiness. When on business a great place to watch football... Watch out for the Dutch crowd though... And they can't play cricket even... Highly recommend this bar in my book.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Loads of memorabilia. Friendly staff. Well worth a visit! Generous portions. Small 'starter' portions sufficient for main course lunch...

Having landed that morning in Colombo, and looking for a place close to my B&B, I was pleased to note that the Cricket Club Café was just around the corner. My last experience was so good I guess I had an expectation it would not disappoint. Dining alone is not my preference, but I had no choice in this instance.... More

The foods, drinks, service and location is at the best. But the atmosphere is above everything. Wining and dining with all the autographed suverniors from the cricket greats not only from Sri Lanka but from all around the world and talking about your hero's is an experience that has to be gone through by any cricket lover. Will not find... More

There was so much cricket memorabilia on the walls that we nearly forgot to eat. The venue was greatly appreciated when I attended with a group of Senior cricketers from South Australia. And the food was good too! After a fortnight of mainly local food it was good to have a plate of fish and chips and as for the... More

It does exactly what it says on the tin. A pub with beer, cricket memorabilia & typical pub grub (with cricketer related names for a quirk!) Lots of bats, shirts, newspaper cuttings & other stuff to view, beer & cocktails, a number of TV screens showing all sport not just cricket & a wide menu. The food was good, service... More

The worst service I have ever experienced and horrible deep fried frozen food. When near the sea and ordering a seafood platter you expect nice fresh fish, not deep fried rubbish from a very bad frozen food supermarket. Toilets dirty, tables and floors filthy, staff unhelpful. Total waste of money and time.

Excellent themed “pub” type café/restaurant that has no pretentions to be something that it is not. Simple straightforward pub type food that is fresh and wholesome, nothing too fancy and arrives without delay and is consistently good. Interesting array of cricket memorabilia decorate the place, popular with the ex-pats and a good place to go for a draft beer and... More

Great place to watch the cricket.....naturally. Lots of fun international cricket memorabilia and beer fine (including Lion on draft). Treat it like a clubby pub and it's a fun place to be but don't bank on using it as a restaurant. Food is freezer to fryer which is fine when done well but it's often not. We have had food... More
