It does exactly what it says on the tin. A pub with beer, cricket memorabilia & typical pub grub (with cricketer related names for a quirk!) Lots of bats, shirts, newspaper cuttings & other stuff to view, beer & cocktails, a number of TV screens showing all sport not just cricket & a wide menu. The food was good, service... More

The worst service I have ever experienced and horrible deep fried frozen food. When near the sea and ordering a seafood platter you expect nice fresh fish, not deep fried rubbish from a very bad frozen food supermarket. Toilets dirty, tables and floors filthy, staff unhelpful. Total waste of money and time.

Excellent themed “pub” type café/restaurant that has no pretentions to be something that it is not. Simple straightforward pub type food that is fresh and wholesome, nothing too fancy and arrives without delay and is consistently good. Interesting array of cricket memorabilia decorate the place, popular with the ex-pats and a good place to go for a draft beer and... More

Great place to watch the cricket.....naturally. Lots of fun international cricket memorabilia and beer fine (including Lion on draft). Treat it like a clubby pub and it's a fun place to be but don't bank on using it as a restaurant. Food is freezer to fryer which is fine when done well but it's often not. We have had food... More

Clubby and quirky and with excellent food in a fun atmosphere. Probably a hundred years behind the times in concept yet modern as can be with a good menu, correspondingly good food, and an excellent staff. Makes one almost want to learn how cricket works.

There is cricket momentos everywhere, and some for sale, and all of the dishes are amusingly named after cricket greats, such as David Shepherd's Pie. The service is friendly, costs reasonable but, on my visit, my host was short-changed so check your bill and change carefully.

Must visit for cricket fans. Others, not necessarily :) We went there for a quick drink and a bite. The food was ok, the beer was fine. Smoking inside the air-conditioned premises was a little tough to handle.

For those who know the game or just alien to cricket it's a wonderful place filled with loads of memorabilia. Talking of the atmosphere evenings would be the best to visit, sitting outside at the terrace will be fine if the weather is ok and humidity is bearable after a couple of pints, most food items listed in menu are... If you don't like cricket but love it, this is a must! Fantastic atmosphere amongst cricket history, with memorabilia from all eras and virtually every national team to ever play at a senior level. Oh, lets not forget the food, which was tasty, offered great variety and was reasonably priced for what you got, all washed down with a few... More
