I was there couple of weeks ago again, but left with bad impression because service brought it down. Tend to have new staffs and they are not good enough for serving customers who pay overpriced, somewhat delicious food. Waitress were looking at all over customers' body and clothes. Babies were crying everywhere, but unfortunately no one took care of them.

Even though this ranks as one of the best Indian restaurants in UB, we have avoided it due to the heavy laden dishes of Monosodium Glutamate, rife throughout Asia. Flavors are good, and beer is cold, in a lovely dining atmosphere.

I tried something different each of the 3 times I ate at Hazara and never had a meal I didn't like (including one of sauced button mushrooms chosen by a friend). The baskets of naan are tasty, but the waitstaff seriously up-sells them as they are fairly expensive. Our group of twelve people could only eat *half* of the three... More

Yes, it's absolutely original food from Indian, no doubt about it. Prices are quite high, 2 people for 4 course + naan + drinks we got a bill of almost 100 000 MNT but of course we had to take away. The interiror decoration is all in wood imported from India. We being there 2 times during the week-end, saturday... More

I like the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food is just great. You can also enjoy the raw spices at the entrance on way out to just give nice smell to your mouth.

Having eaten in Indian restaurants the world over, we can only rate this particular Indian restaurant as rather routine. I do think that being ranked as the number 2 restaurant in UB by Trip Advisor reviewers speaks more to its location than its overall quality. We will try someplace else next time.

Of course, after 18 days in Central Mongolia pretty much any restaurant will do you good. Still, expectations were high and Hazara surpassed them all. Atmosphere was great and staff was perfect (taking orders without writing them down, English-speaking). The food was amazing; the review title actually quotes my girlfriend's sister who apparently liked the food too. We had a... More

Eaten here several times and had take away, I have always really enjoyed the food. There is a good atmosphere and the Indian staff that own it and run it are very friendly. Local Mongolian staff are to, but I think they need a little more training on prompt service! Otherwise well worth a visit for a taste of India... More
