Conference banquet, hot pot style. Plenty of meat and fungi, some mushrooms. Attentive staff. Private room so I couldn't sample the ambiance but on entry, seemed chic.

Loves me some hot pot. Great food, quick service, delicious meat all at a reasonable price. Not as touristy as other reviews may claim. You should go. Everybody wants something.

The food is nice and it's a fun way to eat - order a base soup and then other ingredients to go into it. Better in big groups because you can afford to add lots of delicious add ons. I probably wouldn't go alone.

Individual hot pot with induction in front of you, so you can cook as you want. Regular and classical ingredients with a lot of inspiration from Chinese style hot pot. The hot stock was not good. I had to stand and go the bar 3 times to find a waiter. Anyway it's quite common in Mongolia. They have VIP room... More

When I was pregnant (and back in the states) I craved The Bull! Their hotpots are top notch. I ate there during a stay in 2012. We had a large party of about 30 people. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.

The Bull 2 is much nicer than the Bull 1. It's maybe 800 meters away, close to Grand Plaza. Good choice also for vegetarians. Drinks are expensive and no tea for free which surprized me. Good place to go in winter times. It's a popular place for families and all kinds if events, good to reserve a table at weekends.

Based on these reviews, as a neophyte to UB went to The Bull. Service was forgetful, hopeless. The broth was the blandest ever, even the sauces unexpectedly pretty mild. The meat (beef and lamb) - superb and a veggie combo plate - lovely. There must be better places.
