Super authentic French food in UB

I have read some of the comments here, and from my part being in Ub for several months, Triskell is a restaurant where I people meet just to enjoy the friendly staff, and attention of the owner Mr. Yannick. I think that the pancakes – crêpes – are excellent and authentically French, I enjoy the cider and the atmosphere is informal friendly and everything is good quality. Maybe the prices are slightly high for what you get but it still adds up to a cheapish evening overall

Exceptional french restaurant in UB, fantastic food and extremely friendly service! Its like being in Bretagne in the middle of UB. Whenever I am in UB I always go to Le Triskell.

Le Trisquell is friendly, cosy French restaurant close to Sukhbaatar Square. The food is tasty and reasonably priced.

While owner is pleasant and service courteous ( not great) the food is passable at best. The steaks we had were chewy and salmon was really dry. Good choice of drinks. The atmosphere is boxy and airless with plenty of smells coming from the kitchen. If you take into account that dishes are overpriced ... You have plenty of other... More

This French inspired restaurant has a very extensive menu and I would like to recommend the meat. The starter was a very good French onion soup followed by a nice steak with mashed potatoes and pepper saus. The meat was tender which is more than I can say about the rest of the meat I've had in Mongolia.

Very good food, especially given the locale... and the alternatives! Staff is always attentive. We brought some special wines of our own -- no problem and the team even joined us for a toast! Pate is the real deal; tartare was delicious: steak cooked perfectly. And, the only "real" bread I have found in UB.

It is in the center of the city, and service and quality could be great, but the there is one thing is embarrassing. The claimed quality of ingredients is questionable. When comes to meal, we have to be really serious. But the restaurant fails it. Do not know any place except the restaurant currently offering a lamb meat in March... More

I've been here on multiple occasions, and the food is excellent, the wine list extensive, but what really makes this stand out to me is the EXCEPTIONAL service. I have never had a bad experience dining at Le Triskell. Whether it's an intimate dinner for two or a group of 30 (yes, that happened) Le Triskell staff are INCREDIBLE. They... More

OK its not the poshest bar in UB but there was a very warm welcome by the owner and the food and beer was good and reasonably priced and service fast. The bar was frequented mostly by French people but there there were a few a few foreigners (Mongolians and Expats).I would go again however.
