Great location and good food

Located on the top of a tall building, opposite the Blue Sky hotel, and overlooking the main square. Nice set up like a Moscow restaurant at the time of the Tsars. I had lunch there with colleagues. This was not my first visit and regret to say that things have not improved at all. Aside from a very nice view, the steaks we had as part of a 20,000 tg set menu were frankly rubbery at best. Portions were ok but the cook needs some upgrading lessons. Alsonin a country were... Great night, very upmarket frequented by government officials, local celebs and the business leaders alike. The view is absolutely incredible with a panoramic vistas of the ever expanding city. Food and view list were excellent and very professional service.

I was expecting a better food quality. The service is good, the city view is excellent. May be better to be served as a bar than a restaurant :)

If you feel passionately for mutton and horse milk, then this the country for you. I heard the Mongolian hotpot came from the soldiers who boiled mutton in their helmets in between pillaging most of the known world. Supposedly Mongolian BBQ came from frying the mutton on their shields, I don't know if this is true, but it beggars belief... More

Had a great dinner yesterday with the whole family. Food was real, atmosphere was warm, music finished it off. No need for more words

Great views over the City, with some of the best service I have encountered in any of the Ulaanbaatar Restaurants. Food was well presented and tasty, we had the soup and Foie Gras for an appetiser , the Soup was extremely good, more like a Laska, while the foie gras with caramelised onion was fantastic. Meanwhile the mains being the... More

This place enjoys fantastic views over the city of Ulaanbattar and for that reason alone was well worth the visit! The food was average but to be very honest, the only decent meals we have had in Ulaanbattar were at the Verandah Restaurant nearby and the Prime Grille in the Best Western Tuushin! The decor in Monet is very tasteful... More

My partner and I celebrated a special occasion at Monet last Friday night, and were overwhelmingly disappointed. The view over Sukhbaatar Square as the sun sets is stunning, and the services much better than at most other restaurants in Mongolia, but that is where the fine experience ends. The serves are tiny, for instance, the Seared scallops salad, mixed cress,... More

Had a lovely evening meal recently during trip to UB. It was our last nite in town - so special for many reasons. This restaurant did not disappoint. the food was great and the service very attentive. The nighttime views over Ulaanbaater are also a highlight so if you get the chance - it was certainly THE best restaurant I... More
