To find us: Go to our website for map directions or type "luna blanca restaurant" in a google search.Founded in the Spring of 2008 by three Mongolian women dedicated to promoting healthy and compassionate living. Serving a savory menu of Asian, Western and Mongolian cuisine, all foods are 100% Vegan (no animal products of any kind are used). Many of our ingredients are home made including items such as vegan mayonaisse, hot sauces, vegan mock meats, several types of dumplings and so on. From the onset, the restaurant has been run in a manner that is not profit seeking, choosing instead to pay relatively good salaries, engaging in community outreach and philanthropy, while keeping prices as low as possible and serving high quality ingredients. Luna Blanca Restaurant is smoke and alcohol free. We are child friendly with high seats and a special children’s menu. Special orders, catering, take-out are available. We have ample experience in catering and in hosting large events.

Great to escape the endless mutton

This is a refreshing change - the people here are very welcoming and helpful. We even bought cakes to go for our onward travels. The food is fine - we are not vegetarians so personally I prefer actual vegetables to the use of soy as 'pretend meat' - but all tasty and we ate there more than once.

My friend works as an expat in Mongolia. She brought me here despite knowing im not a vegetarian. She told me I wont regret it and that I should try it. True enough! the food was very delicious! I loved the kimchi jjigae so much that I still dream about it today. The owners are very nice, too. My friend... More

Close to Sukhbaatar Square, it is definitely worth checking out this upstairs vegan restaurant. There is a wonderfully broad selection, generous serving sizes, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was also very pleasant and conducive to conversation. I got to know some fellow travellers over a lovely selection of lunchtime meals, that were easy for us to share. The drinks here... More

During the tour I've been eating a lot of beef and mutton. After the tour I was so glad that I had a chance to have some light and flavorful dinner. In Mongolia I think It's hard to find a restaurant that serve by vegetarian foods.

Even though this is a vegan restaurant ALL the food is incredible no matter if you're a meat lover or a vegetarian. The food is amazingly flavored, fresh and well balanced. Still think about the food I ate there now and only wish I had asked for the recipe when I was there. Staff are also really friendly, accommodating and... More

As a long-time vegetarian, I love having the chance to try traditional, local food. I came here with a group of work colleagues, all meat lovers, who raved about the food as well! We went back twice on our trip. The food is flavorful, authentic and light. Definitely a winner.

After many weeks of eating mutton with noodles, mutton with rice, this is a welcome respite and in a nice location in UB.

I'm not a vegetarian, but after weeks of meat and instant noodles I really felt to get something "good". And it was like a rehabilitation for my body. First I didn't recognised that this is all soya. Very tasty and fresh. I tried the "spicy" - really great! My friend choose the pasta. Big portion, in my opinion a little... More
