The best Italian you will find in UB. Eaten there many times, a good realy ex-pat hangout. Although doesn't have real parmesan on all the dishes. The lasagne tasted particularly good after dining on mutton noodle soup for weeks at a time

I have been to the Veranda many times and the food is both good and reasonably priced. Service is variable - sometimes great, sometimes awful.

View over the temple from the terrace is very nice. We like to sit next to some fresh pot of basil. Pizza and pastas were excellent. A large selection of mediterranean cuisine, mainly Italian. It was quite busy, I think it's better to book in advance next time. A lot of expats there.

This is the first restaurant I went to after arriving in UB, and I have been back since. Food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. This will become a regular for me.

I dined here for lunch with several friends during my stay in Ulaanbatar, and the experience was pretty good. We had a large party, which I think was a bit overwhelming for the staff; however, they did their best. Overall, I was really pleased with the meal and all of my colleagues were equally impressed. The only thing keeping me... More

Good service, very good food. It's not a cheap place for UB but really worth every penny. We had great pizzas, very big ones.

A nice restaurant with a roof terrace overlooking the Choijin Kama museum. We had lunch here - an excellent salad which wouldn't have been out of place in a good London restaurant.

Went here to celebrate a friends birthday, so we went all the way with food and drinks. The atmosphere is nice, the food was good (as in nice presentation and decent flavours, but not something I will remember in a week) and the waitresses very professional. However, the dishes came out in an enormous speed. A friend went out to... More

Decent Italian-Mediterranean food; salads were small, as was portion of pasta. Good wine list and nice quiet atmosphere in a quiet location away from the scrum that is UB. A bit pricey but that's what you pay for the scene there. Lots of "hipster" Mongolian girls and guys at some tables; probably busy on a weekend night. Reservations essential.
