We stumbled across Nayra cafe when we were walking after visiting the History Museum. It is a cozy coffee shop which also has a wine store inside. The wines looked good and were cheap. Since it was our last day in UB before we headed out to the countryside, we did not buy any wine. They have some interesting coffees... More

For many years now Nayra has stuck to a very successful and simple formula; good basic western style cafe food and drink, wifi, very reasonable prices, It is especially nice to see a place that has maintained its standards and quality consistently for such a long time now. The atmosphere, with a combination of students and business/government people, is pleasant... More

Good spot for lunch with daily specials for a decent price, although the Hungarian Goulash was 50% meat and 50% fat. This is definitely European cuisine, and you'll be able to get your tuna sandwich and fries here if that's what you're after. Entrance is through the mini market and up the stairs at the back of the building. A... More

This place is nice and cozy. The staff seem a bit slow, but I guess it's because the customers usually go there to have a meal or coffee and just sit there reading or working on computer. The food is good and the coffee is great. it's really convenient to buy small groceries on the first floor after having a... More

Nice bohemian cafe in UB, a hit with home-sick expats I'm guessing - good range of coffee and cakes as well as all sorts of snacks (locala nd western). Comfy armchairs to sit and read or work ... plus a neat shop downstairs with a good selection of wine etc...And free wifi!

Found this place when I was visiting the Zanabaza Museum of Fine Art, which is about 3 minutes away. Nayra Cafe has pretty decent food at affordable prices (4000-7000 tug for soups, sandwiches, pastries, coffee, tea). It's alright food, not particularly delicious. Generally, an easy comfortable place to hang out for a few hours when you're in UB. There's wifi,... More

I enjoy going here. I go mostly for breakfast because it's one of the few places with breakfast but it's good and priced well. The staff a some of the nicest people and the wifi is nice when everyone isn't using it. The restaurant is either quiet and nice to relax or it's packed and noisy. I would only suggest... More

This cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, with free wifi (password of the day is written on the chalkboard near the register) and comfy chairs. The chai tea latte (hot and cold) is amazing, and pretty much the only reason I go back there. The food and the service, though, are hugely lacking. It takes ages to get the waitress' attention,... It's an alright cafe, decent coffee and baked goods. However, the staff could do a better job. We overheard the staff saying how the owner wasn't around so they could close earlier, me and my friend were the only people at the cafe. They did not intervene when a homeless person came in and showered me and my friend (the... More

Despite the plethora of eateries near where I live, this is where I find myself coming back to. They have a wide variety of food on the menu, and so far only one thing has disappointed, and even it wasn't bad (just wasn't what I expected). Service varies, as does the reliability of the wifi. But it's a comfy place... More
