I've been to Café Amsterdam around 5 times already, I love that it is located just next to the state department store, a popular point to meet up with people. The stuff is very friendly, they serve excellent cappuccino, fresh juices, a delicious hot chocolate and have a variety of great teas. They have comfy couches as well as nice... More

They make great coffee here and the young women are very friendly! In the city centre. Good place to stop before going on to Mary and Marthas Social Enterprise Shop.

Very convenient for central UB on Peace Avenue. Good WiFi and coffee. Although the menu is a bit limited if all you want is a pannini then this is a good place to be. There is an outside area which is good for people watching when the weather allows!

The pumpkin soup I had was terrible, but still seems a comfortable place to stay for a while. Wi-fi didn't work though... There are some beautiful postcards with reasonable price, and that's the reason I went there again. (compared to many other shops where they sell postcards as well)

Nice spot to sit and relax. Friendly staff and coffee was reasonable. We sat for quite a while, whilst the rest of our group shopped in the department store.

We stopped here for a break after having walked around the city for some hours. We had coffee and carrot cake. Yummy, yummy. Great location on the main street with a good view from first floor. You can sit outside and enjoy a relaxing time with your coffee, cake and wifi. They sell books and postcards as well.

We were hot tired and hungry and thought we would stop in for a nice relaxing lunch. The outside eating a looked lovely from the street but once you climbed the stairs not so inviting. We decided to sit inside. We found a table and settled down to choose from the menu. The menu was very small and if you... More

Best coffe in town, nice to sit on the balcony. They have a travel agent in the cafe who organised a well organised 5 day tour for us.
