I went to the BD at Seoul Str. and it was a great experience. You selecting the ingredients of your meal is just great. And, the guys at the huge round grill and their skills with the “swords” grilling your dinner are just fantastic. Saturday evening the place was packed with locals and just a few expatriates as me. I... More

There is no Macdonalds or KFC in Ulaanbaatar, but this place has its origins in the USA. Was taken there by a local who genuinely like the place. The food was okay, but it had a pretty sterile atmosphere.

As we came 30 minutes before closing, the staff tried to convince us to choose the (expensive) buffet; we opted for the "a la carte" and had to wait more than 30 minutes for food to arrive; drinks also came with a +20 minutes delay after approaching the restaurant manager; it seemed that the staff was more involved in closing... I went there with some work colleagues and it wasn't good at all. It a weird knock off of what you have in the USA and doesn't seem to be authentic Mongolian food at all. We got there (at 6pm on a Wednesday) and they were having a staff meeting so we had to seat ourselves. Then we went to... More

N47°54'46.59" E106°53'51.03" Reservation is needed when you like to eat on the terrace or in the restaurant. Otherwise, you will be shown a converted garage-box next door and, although tasteful decorated, sounds like a big box inside. The Mongolians may be forgiven what BBQ actually is. In fact this is a stir-fry cooking restaurant, so you select ingredients and the... More

Ingredients were not fresh, meat slices still frozen and definitely not our (or real Mongolians') idea of Mongolian food. Great for Americans and tourists and local families enjoyed the buzz but there are far better and more authentic experiences of Mongolian and international food in UB. We were very disappointed, unfortunately.

We have celebrated the birthday of my daughter and had a lot of fun there. There is a wide choice of food for everyone and if you do not want to eat the ready food, help yourself and the chefs will prepare you a barbecue of your own choice! My kids were amazed watching the chef playing with swords and... More

Glad to see American businesses are doing well in Mongolia. We have a couple of restaurants from this chain in Columbus, Ohio. Since the restaurant works with tour groups to get them to end their tour day here to eat, it can be VERY crowded, and you can wait a long time to get your meal cooked, or find that... More

Went there a couple of nights ago with 15 members of my Mongolian family. We all loved it. Despite some other reports that the place is full of tourists, I got the distinct impression that I was the only non-Mongolian there! Because we were celebrating my wife's birthday, we had a private room for our group. But of course all... More

Being a gluten-free vegetarian, it wasn't easy to find meals without meat and or noodles/dumplings. This is a great place to get a vegetable stir fry. They also have hot vegetable mixes and fruit salad
