Relaxed and comfortable

Not pretentious and good value. Cocktails are a little lacking in alcohol but perhaps that's not a bad thing!

After reading the previous reviews of Sticky Fingers I felt compelled to add a review of my own. I have lived in Vientiane for over three years and have visited numerous times, not once have I had a poor experience at this restaurant. So I was extremely surprised to read the previous negative reviews. The food is high quality western... More

The fact that the food I ordered didn't make me sick is the only positive of this place. Poor staff and poor tasting food make me wonder how the place stays open. Go to the few local outdoor eateries for a better experience at a better price.

The food was cold, oily and really bad. The service was terrible. Staff standing around avoiding eye contact. Don't waste your time.

In dire need of dietary innovation we shared a veggie quesadilla and a portion of potato wedges, and were surprised by a basket of the best chips that we'd had in months. Quesadilla was good too. The houmous with the chips was a bit weird though - it tasted like it was made with sesame oil rather than tahini, which... More

Little new can be added to the body of reviews on this well-known establishment. Yes, there are many cheaper alternatives but not everyone is only governed by the bottom line. I always prefer to pay slightly more for quality. The menus are clearly displayed outside so I am surprised that anyone looks at these, goes in to eat and then... More

We sat down at a very dirty table and waited about 10 minutes before anyone would clean it. Then they cleaned it but didn't take our order. We finally flagged them down and ordered a couple decent sounding meals. Looking around, we noticed no one else was eating. It was quite busy so I figured it must be a fluke.... More

A good selection of western food and big portion sizes, and that’s about it. Cocktails are good, as is the beer, but beyond snacks I would have a number of other places higher on my list for an evening in Vientiane. Don’t get me wrong – there is nothing wrong with the place or the food, but Vientiane has so... More

Went for the fish and chips, good portion and a really good sauce. The place is well worth a visit if you're in Vientienne.

We just went there this evening by chance for rather late night after dinner cocktails having foubd Le Sen ( the more up market place up the road) to be dreadful and we liked it a lot. Next time i'm in Vientiane I'll try their food.
