Since when can a steak give you goosebumps?

In an uncharacteristic splurge, we ordered the Wagyu steak, steeply priced at 250,000 LAK, but it was just incredible. So incredible I went back again just to see if it gave me goosebumps the second time. And it did. Perfectly grilled, perfectly seasoned, tender and with a rich beef flavour we... read more

I ordered Pork Ribs, and since the first bite I could tell that my meal had been prepared with care. Everything was delicious, fresh and natural, without the sauce with tons of sugar on the top that is used by many restaurants. Service and atmosphere were excellent. The best and cleanest to eat and drink around

Pimenton serves great authentic Spanish tapas and grills in Vientiane, and nost surprising given the charming hostess' origins. The restaurant has a modern industrial decor, and the tables are nicely spaced so you are not sat on top of other diners. We went for the tapas, which was very varied and almost to a dish very tasty indeed. There's a... More

I simply adored the experience and the food. The restaurant took me off surprise with its industrial appearance and friendly atmosphere. I was met by an attractive Spanish host with a Penelope Cruz accent. It turned out she was one of the owners of the restaurant. The other owner was her husband the chef who from what I found out... great menu, excellent service. Mojitos are very good! Modern decor and consistently good tapas. Nothing else like this in Vientiane.

Went there with my wife for a lunch. The menu featured a fish dish which was sold out - for me a compliment to the kitchen. My wife took the waitress' advice and went for a three-course special featuring fish as the main course. I had a Ceasar salad to start with followed by a burger. The entire lunch was... More

I'll admit it, I ordered a pretty top end steak but it tasted very top end! The staff here were attentive to my every need (something that isn't always guaranteed in Laos), the food was world class, easily meeting anything at the higher end (but not the very top) I've had in London or New York. I had the Canadian... More

While steak on the grill seems to be the main part of the business, Pimenton also has a good tapas menu. This is what we chose from. The food was a mix of typical tapas with a few creative additions. Everything we had was very good. Service was professional and friendly. Pimenton also offers the best wine menu I experienced... More

Didn't get into the extensive steak/meat side of the menu but really enjoyed the tapas dishes. All very good and original (for a non-Spanish diner). Great selection of wine. Very amiable host/owner.

Very nice tapas, good daily menu. High quality products with an incredible Spanish taste!! It is also a place where you can find a Mahou Beer!!! For us was amazing to find Mahou in Laos.
