We were looking for a place for lunch and stumbled on this place. We had a Cobb salad and chicken quesadilla. Both were good and tasted fresh. The service was great and they checked on us often to be sure all was okay. Daniel, the owner was pleasant and attentive as well. Would recommend.

The kitchen is outside and the tables inside, beside that, the kitchen looks organized and works well. I ordered the baguette with meat and cheese, delicious! And my husband the blue hamburger (with... More

If you fancy a change from Asian food, then this is the spot. The burgers and steak sandwiches are fantastic, and with a cold beer chaser, life doesn't get much better!

Saw people lined up out the door here yesterday so gave it a try today and it was well worth it. The prices are a little more than local food but still very reasonable. The portions are huge and very delicious! Loved the beach boys tunes and "Ray" was refreshingly friendly. Beers were cheap and ordered my meal with no... More

I went to rays based on tripadvisor reviews. I wanted American food after a month in Asia. I had the blue cheese burger and it was excellent! As good as any mainland burger joint. The fries come with a delicious dipping sauce. I would go back for another burger right now.

Vientiane has quite a few burger places available, but Rays definitely stands out from the rest, by serving high quality, finger-linking dishes for fair prices. Ice cold beer, huge portion of excellent French fries, and most important, a burger genuinely grilled to perfection. Daniel the owner, wants Rays to be the best and is willing to go the extra mile... And he is still talking about it. We hear the burger is also awesome. And the beer is cold. Very cold. And the salad is huge with lots of bacon/cheese toppings. We are going back to try the margarita. Oh, and be sure to get the cheesesteak. Cheesesteak.
