I was in town for only two days and I made a point to go Ray's Grille twice after I tried his burgers for the first time. I have not had a blue cheese burger like his and I actually brought a friend of mine the next day and she was also deeply impressed. If you are ever in Vientiane,... More

This place is really easy to miss at first glance, but once you're inside, you'll be greeted with a lovely designed place and a friendly staff. The food, my god, the food is so good. The burgers are great, the quesadillas even better. The price may seem a bit high for local standards, but the quality is definitely worth it.

We came here as a group of 6 and ordered a range of burgers. This restaurant caters for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The kitchen is situated outside but don't be alarmed, the food is fresh and arrives quickly and service is above average. Space within the restaurant is limited but has a cosy family-like atmosphere, and is usually busy... More

Ray's is this enclitic , little street restraint that is just the greatest discovery in all of Lao, the food is simple amazing quality and it taste is outstanding, pricing is foe the budget savy, and it's just suck a friendly place.

Ray's burgers and Mexican food are fantastic. Quality ingredients and great taste. Can't wait to go back. His food represents great value in Vientiane where lots of the restaurants tend to be over priced.

Ray's is a fantastic burger joint and does it really well, however it probably doesn't deserve the number 1 ranking for Restaurants in Vientiane. Don't take that to mean that we were disappointed, we weren't, it was great. We have walked past regularly over the last year or more without calling in, figuring if we wanted Burgers we would not... If you're feeling like Western food while staying in Vientiane, I highly recommend Ray's Grille. Of course, prices are 3 times that of standard Lao fare, but if you've got the craving for a burger it hits the spot! Very well trained chefs and friendly staff.

Cute cafe with outdoor cooking area. Beautiful burritos but they had ran out of Guacamole and Barbecue sauce side orders. It was only early lunchtime and their menu is pretty small, so I was a little disappointed. The guy who runs the place is respectful and extremely hard-working (the place was rammed). I've read reviews saying personal things about him... More

Everything started out well until my order was served to a friend who was with me. The friend proceeded to put Ray's special 'West Coast' sauce on the burger before the error was discovered by my friend and the waitress. Thinking it was mayonnaise, which I don't like on my burgers, I refused the burger. Ray then got involved to... More

Had philly and cobb salad; each turned out to be a portion enough for two. Yummy food: lots of meat (philly) and generous fetah cheese (salad). Friendly owner, too. Definitely recommended.
