Go to Francois Ngin St (Rue) for wonderful food

We liked the breakfast so much that we repeated it a week later for a late supper. My wife said this was the best breakfast she had ever eaten, which is quite a compliment from an outstanding breakfast chef. Try the salade greque and the baguette A l'ancienne. We were given a Croissant au jambon... read more

Great stop for an iced coffee. Free wifi and clean toilets. Friendly and appreciative staff. Would recommend.

Been here twice now. Very good coffee and frappes, nice atmosphere and good WiFi. Didn't try food but by all accounts looks the goods too.

This is just a really nice little place with great coffee, friendly service and good food. I noticed a few of these in town but they don't have the corporate Starbucks feel, which is a good thing as far as I am concerned

I have recently been to most of the coffee shops in Vientiane, and for me it is so far the best place: good coffee and tasty French bakery, nice atmosphere (upstairs), the best Wifi (5+ Mbps). Downsides are that it is on the pricy side, toilets are not really clean and staff do not really care about the customers upstairs.... More

Lovely music; lovely air conditioning; good, strong coffee; a small collection of nice pastries and baguettes; clean toilets with washing faculities; friendly staff. This is an impressive, upmarket western-style cafe where you can momentarily escape the busy streets and heat of Vientiane, and enjoy the things you might be missing from back home (where ever that might be).

If you want a European type snack for a change, this is the place. Great sandwiches, pizza, cake and iced/hot coffee. WiFi inside cafe is great but not so good if sitting outside. Also has good toilet facilities!!

A lay back, quiet place with good cappuccino and selection of cake, pastries , and pies. Service is excellent and there's an outside seating area from which you can see the river. Upstairs seating indoor outdoor area is fantastic, love the background music, it is background. Nice place to stop by. When in Vientiane and wish to have good quality... More

Nice place with good cappuccino and selection of cake, pastries , and pies. The crime brûlée was excellent! Service is excellent and there's an outside seating area from which you can see the river if there no obstruction, such as temporary stall market as was there when visited last. Nice place to stop by.

When in Vientiane and wish to have good quality food in a nice ambience just search for Sinouk Café; there are a quite a few in the city. This upcoming coffee café chain is quite trendy... you won't regret
