A great option for an otherwise sparse city.

Really great food, and a really nice atmosphere - a truly mixed crowd of tourists, backpackers and locals. The staff were polite and willing to assist with special requests, which was great for me as a vegan.

Have been several times, in a group (upstairs),and as a single. Recommend an array of dishes if in a group to get the full range of the menu - authentic Lao food especially the duck and pork laap (larb). Good selection of vegetarian options. Have special tourist versions if you don't like it spicy. Fast and friendly service

Not that difficult to find .. The food is simple as I order "single dish " plus Loas sausage. Taste good on both. No Air conditioning and no wifi. This is a family run restaurants so the staff is friendly. I also ordered Loas whisky at 5000 kips..

We've had the chance to eat there several times and found it enjoyable every time. Spicy if you want, they also have tourist versions of their dishes.

This is without a doubt the best laap I have eaten in Lao. We had the one with duck and it was really tasty. We also had the red curry chicken which missed character and taste, just as the stir fried vegetables. If you want a good laap, this is your place to be. If you want something else, look... More

Good place to try the local food, prices are ok, not very expensive. A bad thing is that they don't have air con, on a hot day you really get sweaty. But the restaurant is good.

The one common thing I have noticed each time I have eaten here has been numerous customs literally waving at servers who seem completely oblivious to them. Despite this, the food is always great. There is an energy in the restaurant that is usually full. The however, do need a new playlist!

Dear CanadaSA001, Thanks for the feedback. Your comment has generated quite a bit of discussion among our staff. It is a helpful reminder that we need to improve the level of service we provide to our customers. Also, new playlist added! Kind regards, Lao Kitchen More

Can eat far cheaper in Vientiane which is probably why almost all customers are foreigners. Not expensive by western standards and nice place to try Lao food.

Went there with my family when they came the first time to visit me in Vientiane. The place is nice a friendly. You can order a wide range of Lao dishes, specially prepared for tourists. You can choose how spicy you prefer the traditionnal dishes, which comes handy when you are not spicy-ready ;) Great place, and fair touristic prices.... More

For excellent tastey Loa cuisine, this is a must. I regularly came here once a week, and the fried rice would be one of the best in town. Good family and friendly environment, great prices and excellent food choices.
