I've never had a better steak at this price. Sure this isn't world class steak but for the price I was very impressed. The selection of beers is phenomenal but be prepared for sticker shock because they are pricy. Stick with the local Lao beer if your worried about the wallet.

We came here because it was one of the few places open at 11pm. We ordered the mini cheeseburger plate and the mini goat cheese sliders, while I can say the goat cheese plate was an awesome bar snack, the cheesburgers tasted off, like the meat had been sitting in a fridge for a week. The beer selection is truly... More

Again I ordered a Double cheese Burger, was good, the fries this time, not homemade? not so excellent than some month ago. My Thai GF wanted a simple Thai dish, you can describe as scrambled eggs or Omelette with some meat and vegetables. was not on the menu and the order was declined from the European manager. So a second... More

With a great selection of imported beers, a varied menu of European favourites and a relaxed atmosphere, Chokdee's is a great place to while away an evening.

Most of all I like the ambiance made by the owner and his staff wich atracks an interesting public from local people as well as from touriists. And than, The beer and the food help a lot to make your stay quality time..I hope to see you there.

What is cool, it's that the place really has a lot of selection on beers (but slightly less for other alcohol beverage), but it's a beer bar anyway! We found lots of cool selection that we couldn't get in Bangkok and with a good reasonable price.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, a beer menu for all tastes and yummy snacks. The perfect stop to catch up with friends and explore the extensive imported beer menu.

Great Mussel dishes, but very small mussels - takes quite a while to eat a pot of them... A superb variety of Belgian Beers.
