Really pleasant restaurant, with the most lovely owners

I was presently surprised eating at this restaurant. As this was my second French meal in the city. What is really nice to see is a restaurant that is run and served by the people that own it even in this more upper class style setting. The constant flow of other French customers, I think is... read more

We stayed at the hotel but couldn't eat everyday there but were very lucky to eat in this restaurant. The foods are so good and served fast! In brief, the device is great!

The food was varied and was delicious. There was a varied wine menu but the house wine was delicious and very nicely priced. We all enjoyed our food as it was cooked to perfection. The service is wonderful and the chef came to ensure we enjoyed our meal. I'm a bit of a foodie, so please visit if you have... More

We had a truly wonderful meal. Excellent food. Nice cool atmosphere. The fish for the main course was particularly good, as was the desert. The lady owner or manager was particularly welcoming and helpful.

Perfect if you want a classic French-style meal, are not too hungry and are not on a budget. The three times I have eaten here (all paid for by others!) the food has been good (once excellent), but very small portions. Good staff, very nice interior and ambience. Expensive by Vientiane standards, IMHO.

This restaurant is definitly a very good one! During lunch, you have the choice between 2 dishes of entree and main course, and a big choice of desserts. I had the lunch 2 course menu with a green lentil salad (with smoked duck breast) and pork leg over zucchini. It all looks very fancy, its a nice atmosphere inside, and... More

As a person living in VTE, I'd recommend Láddress plat du jour as probably the best in town. At 60,000-80,000 the service is fast and the food is delicious. Tinay does GREAT things with scallops- the scallop breadless burger is óff the hook'', I don't eat beef, but the stacked burger will not disappoint. And the light emulsion under the... More

A relatively small and intimate restaurant with a comfortable ambience; very attentive well-trained staff who worked efficiently and effectively. The menu is broad, and the wine list is more than sufficient. I enjoyed an excellent soup served "cappucino-style" in a glass mug with foam on top that is sipped directly from the glass. My main course of pan-fried fillet of fish... More

My previous review seems to have disappeared. I only went one time to this place. The food is honestly tasty, and the staff (contrary to other comments) was nice. The place has a wide range of french dishes. That means it is not vegetarian friendly at all. Overall I would say that the place is overrated. Prices are expensive for... More
