I recommend this restaurant to all persons wishing to eat in a nice place in central Vientiane A variety of dishes ( french, Thai, Lao) Outstanding service, A french bistro atmosphere, A Very own tropical garden Delicious dishes No smoking place inside !!! Friendly staff and they're very helpful. We're very well received. As for plates, many choices and good varieties. They are for the taste of everybody: Asian, French, Italian, etc., meat, fish, burger, etc.. Anyway, we did have a great time to enjoy the gastronomy and we'll definitely come back and bring our friends later! More

L'Estaminet is an average to good French-Western-Lao restaurant which has a nice outdoor garden, just off Lane Xang avenue. The food is good value for money but will definitely not rival with a number of other places in Vientiane. If you are around the area of the morning market, it's an OK stop for lunch, but is definitely not worth... More
