This is one of the best restaurants in Vientiane! Japanese place, very nice place! Food from 45k KIP and up. Go for the cheese cake! Really good!

The food feels like home made Japanese cooking and is very comforting. The best thing about the restaurant is the atmosphere with nice floor sitting and a very zen feel.

Like eating in a japanese host's home! Fresh , superbly prepared food , presentation is precise, service is excellent, place is run by artistic young couple - have eaten here many times, never disappointed- except monday when they are closed!

this small and unassuming restaurant with a Japanese fusion theme is a lovely find in Vientiane, it seats only 12 people but the food and service are excellent with a good selection of wine to match. Not the most inexpensive but worth the price.

Small Japanese run tea house. Lovely wooden floors. You leave your shoes outside and sit in one of three low western style chairs/tables or one of three Japanese style mats. If the sitting style(s) puts you off, don't go. Place can get quite busy and you need to get lucky. When we arrived there were a couple open tables. While... More

Well, I came here for all the praise on tripadvisor, only to find that there is no reason for this restaurant to be among the top 3 of Vientiane. 1. leave your shoes outside before getting in 2. six tables, three sit-on-the-floor, three normal 3. small menu, 60% meat, 40 % vegetarian, no fish/seafood 4. mains between $ 6 and... This is a small restaurant with cozy atmosphere and interesting menu - modern combination of Asian ingredients. Went there few times and each time was really happy.Liked the food and the service a lot.

A nice pleasant place to grab lunch or dinner. The food is good and the owner is nice. Prices are a little high for Vientiane, but you get interesting, creative cuisine. People will call it Japanese food, but it is not the usual dishes. I have never been to Japan, but have been told that this is what you would... More

I spent 3 years living in Japan, and the food served in YuLaLa is akin to the food we'd get when visiting friends houses. The service is great, the price good, the food delicious and the owners welcoming.

The food was nice, although a little limiting if you're vegetarian. It was a nice overall experience. I'd definitely go back. The menu was quite small and their wasn't a lot of variety. But the quality was very good.
