If we will ever come back in Vientiane a reason would be to eat here again !!!! Amazing food and lovely service. I have no other word JUST GO THERE!!! Funny (and disgusting) story: just out of the restaurant a couple asked me about the food...I said: "You have to go inside and eat!!!! I just finish my meal and... More

I came here with my friends and we ordered different dishes. They are all simple but taste wonderful. One of my favorite restaurant in Vientiane. The chocolate cake is definitely a must! I would say it's the best in Southeast Asia.

We found this place eventually, no thanks to trip advisors map which is useless, search on google maps instead. It's a tiny cafe/restaurant and opens for dinner between 6-9.30. Main courses are fairly cheap 25-50k kip. Recommend the chicken salad and Japanese pickles in rice. Cheese cake was also very good. It can get quite busy we were lucky to... More

We went to this calm Japanese fusion restaurant three times during our nine days in Vientiane. The service, quality and presentation of the food and the décor all made for a very enjoyable eating experience. The menu is not extensive, but the variety of food, including vegetarian options is excellent, as are the desserts

the cafe was just a stone's throw away from the hotel where i stayed. i had a really bad stomach when i arrived in vientiane, and this place gave me the comfort that i needed. the ambiance was superb, the young japanese couple who own the place was very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was extremely good. i loved... We had dinner at this lovely little restaurant last night. Food was amazing. We had tomato salad with cream cheese (best cream cheese I've ever tasted), tofu dumplings, fried chicken, and cheese cake for dessert. Everything was delicious, and ambience was great. Nice staff too!

We read about this restaurant, and it was highly recommended. We dropped by for dinner but it was full. We asked if we could reserve a table for later and this was no problem. Back 15 hours later we leave the shoes at the door and take a seat in 1 of 6 tables. We ate all vegan and vegetarian... More

3 of us came here for dinner and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners and desserts. The portions are a little small but fine for us! We loved the flavours and the staff are very friendly and helpful, allowing us to each pay for our meals separately with no hassle. Would go back again.

I really enjoyed eating at Yulala. The rice with Japanese pickles is excellent, as is their stew. But there are some dishes that aren't quite as good (in my opinion) which accounts for 4 stars instead of 5. I am not a big fan of the fermented pork or the vegetarian dishes (they tend to be bland). The desserts are... More
