Ordered three curries, a rice, naan and beers.... They forgot one of the curries but it didn't matter as we were full anyway. Food lacked spice but was still tasty. The portions were good sizes.... Just enough to fill you up and not leaving you feeling like you've eaten too much. Lots on offer on the menu. Prices are extremely... More

I've been returning here for nearly 10 years now. There are other good Indian restaurants in town, but for consistency and value for money, the Taj wins it for me. It's not fancy, in fact it's as basic as you can get, but that lends itself to a relaxed eating experience. The prices are so cheap you can order way... More

A very popular restaurant with a lot of local patrons. Worth finding in the back street, which is not difficult.

We used to go to this restaurant everyday in the evenings to have tea and Pakoda. Even we used to have egg fried rice.. Not an excellent place though.. But a decent kind of place to be with friends..

Had the okra and potato, samosas and lassi, all for about $5. Everything was tasty, and the service was fast and efficient. One complaint: The salty lassi wasn't salty :-(

This place is definitely not the best Indian place you will find, but it is a pretty decent place. I was travelling across Laos and had strong craving for Indian foo. LP had recommended only Taj Mahal as an Indian option. As mentioned by other reviewers, this place is little tricky to find. The place looks ordinary and moderately clean.... More

The food here is incredibly bland. I'm sure it all comes out of the same pot, the sauce is the same whether you order korma, masala or any other variety of curry. Didn't like the saffron rice it was stuck together and was laced with onion and other in identifiable ingredients. I just prefer it plain. Sure its cheap but... More

Nice little Indian restaurant, bit tricky to find but worth it. The food is good (not amazing but generally very good) and cheap as chips. I’d recommend asking for stuff a little spicier as there was no chili heat in any of the dishes we ordered. Overall great value.

This looks like a street restaurant with plastic chairs and greasy tables, but the food is actually pretty good. Not one of the best Indians I had, but the food is very good value for money (less than 80.000 kip for 2 with 2 beers). Service is fine.

Even though it is hard to break away from my favorites, I've been trying to order random and different things off the menu, just to see if they fail at anything. Not yet, and I have eaten here at least 20 times. The service is always quick. The food is always hot. The bill is always way less than you... More
