Disappointing; soggy sandwich, extremely overpriced coffee but quite obviously well marketed when seeing all those predominantly North-American backpackers craving for their culinary fare they call home away from home. Still better than the junk at KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonalds and the likes! More

My hotel was just round the corner from this bakery. I missed breakfast at my hotel every morning to come to the Joma. Great bakers and great service. In the morning try the breakfast burrito. More

I've been here a few times, mostly because of its popularity and free wifi. I'd give this place 3.5 stars if I could. I really like the atmosphere but it's really no different from a Starbucks. The place is never empty, there are always customers chatting, surfing the web or working at the tables. It would be a nice place... More

It is a selfservice café - so nobody will bring you a menu or will ask what you want. The coffee was good - even quite expensive. I ate an raisin twist which was very poor. More

Well I gotta write this review coz the fact that we went there everyday while we were in Vientiane, more because my husband love the coffee here and I can see why. Coffee is great here, and so does the scones+cream+jam I had. Good place to ppl watching too,as we are smokers,we sit outside enjoying our coffee, watching the world go by. More

OK, first of all, you have to accept that this is really expat. But, it's really lovely and well worth going to. As a vegetarian, I love the veggie sandwich. I also love the lemon bars and regularly buy one for the journey home whether in Hanoi or Vientiane. The staff are courteous and well-trained and the atmosphere is calm,... More

The tuna melt was full of gooey cheddar cheese and had lots of lettuce and tomato goodness. The mulberry scones were also fantastic and Joma gives back a portion of the proceeds to charity. I'll always go back to this bakery even though there are so many excellent ones in town. More
