Real bread, so tasty!

We came here for breakfast one day and it was delicious, bagels, eggs, coffee etc. there's a nice balcony to sit on and read the paper, all in all such a nice experience we came back for lunch the next day, which was equally as good (huge sandwiches on lovely baguettes!)

Considering the number of Westerners that frequent the place, it's surprising that most of the staff only have rudimentary English skills. It reminded me of the standards in Laos five years ago. Our order was incorrect and I was surprised that the server got angry; not Lao like at all and whose fault was it anyway? The manager sorted it... More

Their cakes, biscuits, donoughts, bread, cinnamon rolls are really good, I have enough swedish connection to grant. The bar needs a refreshment, it is a bit old and not very well taken care of. All and all we had a great time sitting in the little terrace overlooking the small square and tasting their divine products.

While other bakery items are also good, it bhas one of the best coffees served in town. Small cute place to sit outside or in the verandah upstairs.

We had breakfast here almost everyday during our stay in Vientiane. We found the food descent but a bit overpriced compared to local restaurants. I would say you get exactly what you expect from a Scandinavian bakery in Laos.

It sure looks delicious but the taste is nothing to brag about. We come from sweden and are big fans of everything they had in there. But what we got was old an dry (a "semla") without marsipan and the whipped cream felt old as well. I asked them about it and they said they were made that morning and... More

I did visit the Scandinavian Bakery and they have an amazing selection of baked goodies that would probably match anything like it in the world. However, didn't buy anything because they were very busy and I was running short of time. Next door to the bakery is an amazing French restaurant which I visited twice - I'm mad about steak... More

I liked the (average-good) piece of quiche, but the place is not anything special. Expats seemed to congregate here, though, which I think is a good sign for the food qualityl

I have known this restaurant since I was little. My mom always brought their baguette home every other day after work. I'm used to to the taste and it was a great coffee shop. In the city center and I always go there to have a quite morning or afternoon coffee.
