“My favorite lunch spot”

Amazing croissant sandwiches! Although that should be enough to sell it, this place is cheaper than Joma, has better food and the same coffee. It also has free wifi, plenty of space to sprawl out and it's pretty quite. I wish this place had a branch in Bangkok. More

As an expat Swede living in Asia for quite a few years, entering Scandinavian Bakery in Vientiane is like a piece of heaven. Great cafe serving good quality scandinavian pastries. Judging by the comments from the numerous scandinavians customers the food is not only very tasty but also authentic! More

The place is so mind numbingly boring unless you are here on business you are inclined to give five tar ratings for anything that is mediocre. This place is OK, nothing to stand on top of the building and and scream about but there aren't any of those in Laos either! It lacks the ' taste of home ' but... More

Sorry again folks, but if this what passes for a delightful place to eat and drink....then I might be wrong about why you should visit Vientiane! Run of the mill bakery offering run of the mill baked goods at higher than average prices. Skip it and visit the morning market for better goods and service! More

Ordered chocolate croissant and coffee. Neither were very nice, the croissant was dry and hard and the coffee was disappointing. Had read good reviews about this place, but we didn't like it and wouldn't bother to go back if we were fortunate enough to be in Vientiane again. More
