A little Italy in Bishkek. The chef, Christian and his staff have created a welcoming atmosphere with great Italian cuisine several thousand kilometres away. The home-made bread and mozzarella are extremely delicious, just as the perfect al dente pastas.

I was recently in Bishkek and was told because of my love for food, I had to eat at Fat Boys. This was one of the best recommendations I have ever received. Fat Boys was so good I ate there three times. The owner/chef has more passion about food than I have ever seen. On two of the nights, I... More

Since this summer Fatboy has a new Italian management. What a surprise! It's definitely the best Italian restaurant in town, I have visited only once so far but I can't wait to be back. All the dishes are are prepared and served with great care, and all are very delicious, from starter t dessert!

This cafe is nicely located beyond a park view. It is a beaten track for the foreigners. If you have difficulty in finding somewhere for your taste that place may help you.

We really enjoyed eating here. All the meals we ordered were nice and very well tasting (which is not always the case in Centralasia...). Our 7 y. old daughter still talks about her seafood pasta dish months after. The chef came ind an said hello which was noce. Even though it is a upmarkedet place with nice decor and white... More

Being a newcomer, Italian friends and colleagues have been inviting me there, a very good omen. Then, i tried it for lunch, for dining, just for coffee. I liked it a lot and I especially appreciate the efforts to be genuine. The best caprese in the city. And the tiramisu just heavenly! I'll be going there pretty often, especially during... More

I stopped for a Cafe Americano at this restaurant on a Sunday. I had heard of this place from an expat friend of mine. The restaurant boasts Italian cuisine. I only had an appetizer -- Bruschetta -- but it was pretty good. The coffee I had was great. The location was excellent -- on Chui. I sat outside and watched... More

Food is delicious, excellent presentation, but it took over an hour to get our food, typical for Kyrgyzstan. Chef Cristian came out and greeted us in person, a nice touch. Menu in English is available. Menu is a bit overpriced (450-750 soms for entrées). Burgers looked incredible, stuffed calamari was tasty, beef was tender. Wine menu listed prices per bottles... Great location just opposite the Revolution statue. Friendly and attentive waiters; good bread, a long menu but not always all available. Reasonably-priced tasty soft drinks. They did a decent spaghetti carbonara.

Fatboys, on Chuy, is a nice place for a break in the day when you're in that part of town. Service was attentive (chef stopped by each table to introduce himself), prices reasonable. Drinks are a good choice, as is the Fatboy salad. The buns on the burgers dwarfed the meat inside and made them almost impossible to eat. Decor... More
