Fun cafe with great sandwhiches. Nice to sit up front outside on prospect Chewy. They had hot chocalate too.
Always manages to disappoint. The idea of a reasonably fast - foreign friendly food and bar in Bishkek sounds great. I, for one, keep trying it but every time I end up disappointed by the mediocre service and food.
Kind of friendly. Very old ambiance. Food is below average. Don't order anything with meat. Soups are good. Engl8sh spoken.
I've noticed that staff there has different attitudes towards foreigners and local people. Once I was there with my friends without any foreigners. Waitresses were extremely rude. Coffee was terrible. I think it was not freshly brewed. Next time my friend (he is American) invited me for brunch. He also invited his friends (they were from USA, UK, Brazil and... More
Reasonable service, a little on the expensive side though. Good central location on Chuy avenue, seems to attract many higher end tourists.
It was good food for the price i had the steak sandwich with soup. It turned out to be 2 sandwiches a little much but tasty.
The salds are small and unimpressive, while the burger was quite tasty (tho I was surprised at being charged extra for ketchup). Service was indifferent but you get used to that at most places here. I was also disappointed there's no wi-fi in the place. In the days before Metro and Sierra this was a pretty good choice for expats,... More
Considering Bishkek does not have a wide range of restaurants, Fatboys was not bad. We ended up going there several times, as it is fairly centrally located. The service was slow, mainly because only one waitress was working. The food was not bad, especially the salads and the lentil soup. The décor is simple, and the place pretty clean. The... More
From lonely planet's review I expected something more stylish, but it's not a bad place to eat or drink. There's a lot on the menu, but not everything is available. Pizza is quite good and prices are reasonable. We visited the place twice (lunch and dinner) and on both occasions it was very quiet, but that could just have been... More
The location is nice if you want to sit outside but, compared to places like the metro pub or sierra, Fatboys has nothing to offer extra. The menu is average, just what you would expect from a place like this, but nothing more. Service was uninterrested and fairly slow. I think there are better options in Bishkek, especially when you... More
