lots of standard fare, well handled. Go here, and then get out into Astana and find the same stuff for a lot less at local restaurants.

I've moved to another city just recently, but whenever my travels bring me back to the capital, I use my chance and go to this restaurant. Best angus steak here: agreed. In general best steaks in town: agreed. Not the best service though - there is a room for improvement, and quite big: some staff is very helpful, but it's... More

We went out for steaks and upon advice of others, we did the steak on a hot stone. They bring out a blazing hot stone and raw meat for you to cook your own. One of us had beef the other, horse. It was really a lot of fun and the steak was good. Because we both did it, they... More

Dark and cozy on the inside but outside, the new patio is the place to be during Astana's summer. Even it is cool as it has been this summer, bring a sweater or jacket, sit and enjoy it. The Angus is as good as ever, the fries and onion rings are like the should be and it is just a... More

An atmospheric restaurant which served the best steaks I've had for years - grilled over a wood fire. The microbrewery beers are good. Don't miss the beef Stroganoff - and the onion rings. Service is a bit slow, but the staff are friendly and most have at least some English.

I was never a steak lover until I moved to a country with really bad beef. Now, I crave beef and order it quite a bit. The best steak I ever remember having is here. We usually end up going Saturdays around noon. They open at noon. It is usually very quiet and peaceful then and we love the atmosphere.... More

We had very good steak cooked over the cool, very delicious. Decor and atmosphere were also ok, however live music was way too loud for a dinner place. I also thought that wine was very pricey.

This place is very popular so I would suggest booking in advance. The food and atmosphere are both excellent. The menu is varied enough for most tastes but I would suggest that its a great place for a steak and a dark beer! Overall a superb find and reasonable value, if you're visiting Astana you should add this to your... More

Line Brew beer is actually very good! Went for a steak and ended up getting a horse steak. First time I ever ate one and it was excellent. Cooked to perfection! The wait staff was very proficient and friendly. Returned the next night and had a beef steak and it was just as good. Prices were average and overall well... More

Built to look like an old castle tower but actually very modern and fake. Food and drink is excellent but service is appalling and it's not cheap. It's also far too noisy for an old fogey like me :-)
