Buffet resto with a social cause

Food quality, taste, and presentation is excellent, so much value for the price you pay. Loved the fish fillet in garlic pepper sauce, the Khmer rice noodle soup that is very much like Vietnamese pho, and the sauteed bokchoy with straw mushrooms. Food quality, taste, and presentation is excellent, so much value for the price you pay. Loved the fish fillet in garlic pepper sauce, the Khmer rice noodle soup that is very much like Vietnamese pho, and the sauteed bokchoy with straw mushrooms. Although, they could do better with more non-traditional food choices. I was told that Hagar is a food... More

I've been to Hagar twice now. Both times the service was great and the food was well-presented, hot, etc. However, the only reason I'd go back is as part of a larger group or if someone I was with really wanted to eat there. I doubt I'll ever say, "Hey, let's go to Hagar!" I don't want to be unfair... More

I came there pretty sweat from a long walk, but was still got a nice enough welcome. Everything was very neat and clean. The buffet had good options, with three different kinds of meat, and a great salad variety. Everything was tasty, but there are other buffets in Phnom Penh with higher quality and diversity. Still, good enough for 7... More

We came on a Monday so we had the normal buffet - but the food was amazing! The salad selection is delicious. The Khmer food was super tasty - I couldn't get enough of the sesame chicken wings, and the crab soup and breaded fish were superb. Although we arrived a little early, the staff were so kind and showed... More

This place is truly delicious. We came twice in a large group, and both times we enjoyed delicious Asian food with great variety. It is served buffet style with an awesome outdoor BBQ. Clean location and friendly staff.

Hagar is a buffet style all-you-can-eat restaurant, not a la carte. As most of you will know, some all-you-can-eat places offer quantity not quality! But Hagar is different, the food is good quality and they have ample food choices for most people. The Friday we visited it had a good selection of salads (with balsamic vinegar & olive oil plus... I came on Saturday for their buffet plus BBQ. The buffet spread was smaller, but don't let that deter you. The quality was very good. The BBQ had shrimp, squid, beef, chicken wings, and pork. The squid and shrimp were a little bland, and the pork and beef were slightly too chewy, but it tasted great! Wait staff is friendly,... More

One of THE BEST Sunday Buffets in Phnom Penh! A BBQ delight with Prawns, Steak, Chicken, Pork, Clams, Squid and that's just the BBQ! The had corn on the cob (stated in Coconut milk), fried fish, and so many other items plus breads and desserts. The price is affordable and the service is excellent. Make a reservation!!!

Every single thing we ate from the buffet was magically delicious. We ate so much and it was one of the few time I've been FULL in Asia. We had planned on visiting the Killing Fields but because of eating so much we are forced to lay in our room all afternoon. Not a bad thing. The service was amazing.... More
