Since the beginning of November Alley Cat has updated their menu, and there's now a whole page dedicated to brunches. There's even a brunch loyalty card, with a free Bloody Mary after 5 brunches, and a free brunch after 10. As a result, my wife and I have brunched there 3 times recently. The best 2 of my meals have... More

Visited this restaurant just coz it was late and I was tired and they were right next to the hotel I had just checked into (The Blue Lime). Had a burger (veggie option) and a drink. It was okay, nothing spectacular, but it did make a change from rice :-) Not exactly inexpensive.

The food here was delicious, Mexican style food with local dishes as well. The service was nice, very prompt.

We had a very nice Saturday lunch here. My burger and fries were both tasty and cooked well. My wife enjoyed her flavorful, spicy enchiladas. She did feel the tortillas were a little thick. She also very much enjoyed her well made margaritas, however the small sized glasses were a little disappointing. We didn't have much trouble finding the Alley... More

I had been here before on previous visits to PP and again lived up to expectations. Chilli fries were great and chicken fajitas with home made tortillas were exceptional. Slightly more than what you would pay at a standard Khmer restaurant but the serving size and reminder of home style cooking makes it worthwhile! Don't be put off by the... More

I really wanted to enjoy a real "american style" cheese burger, as these are not easy to find in SE Asia. I have 1 really good one in two years, and this was certainly not it. I could figure that it is difficult to get quality beef, but if a small place in Koh Phagan can do a bang up... More

It seems your expectations were very high as I have had plenty of good burgers in South East Asia. To address your points regarding our burger, I would say first that there in no reason to expect that we have the same beef available as in Thailand. Cambodian beef is often tough and lacking in flavor. We use an imported... More

Went there for lunch, good tasty food, price was very reasonable. Service was disoriented and quite slow even there was only one customer besides us. Ice on the drinks was a bit suspicious.

Thanks for your feedback. We are currently training new staff and apologize if there service was not yet up to standard. With regards to the ice I can assure you there is no reason for suspicion. We have drink ice delivered daily. It is the same ice that is served all over the city. For those that don't know about... More

It is mostly the vibe of the place that kept me going back. Admittedly we were staying next door at The Blue Lime (excellent hotel), however with so many places to eat in PP it seemed wasteful to keep going back to the Alley Cat. But I loved it - a great atmosphere and even better music, very Woodstockish. I... More

We are really glad you enjoyed visiting us. We work very hard to provide top quality food and drinks, and a funky soundtrack to eat and drink to. As far as the happy hour goes the prices are automatically adjusted by the computer system. Thanks for your feedback and we hope to see you on your next trip here! More

was looking for good Mexican food and I found it. Old school American Mexican food. I really enjoyed it.

Have had mixed experiences here --- the tex-mex is usually pretty good. The burger I had was rather awful -- so soaked in grease the bottom of the bun disintegrated when I picked it up. They seem a little tight too (cheese counted as one of your two added ingredients in an omelet) also nickel and dimed me on happy... More

Thanks for the feedback. We work really hard on our food, and have actually just begun making our own burger buns. The kitchen staff were using too much butter in the buns to start with and this caused them to be very crumbly. We have spoken to the staff regarding this and reminded them to use as little oil on...
