This is a nice little pub/restaurant off the Riverfront that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent for breakfast, western food (fantastic hamburgers), and their Sunday Roast. They have pork, roast beef and a half Chicken as roast choices. On this occasion I had the Chicken with stuffing, roast potatoes and veggies, and a nice side of gravy. Abundant portions... More

Went here for breakfast one morning and ordered the half English breakfast, which was plenty big enough for me. Nice location, close to the riverfront. Service was good, although a little difficulty with the language barrier. The food was good, perhaps a bit above average.

Just really great English pub grub at very low prices. The staff are always friendly, the meals are good portions and the probably do one of the best Khmer ice coffees in town. Chicken burger is also a hit, but I've never had a bad meal here.

I have eaten in this place a few times, and I make time to go on Sunday and have the Sunday Roast (chicken). There are usually a few people here on a Sunday, The roast has a good size half chicken with plenty of meat, a couple of large roast potatoes, veg, pot of gravy and a nice size portion... More

We've been travelling for a while so it was great to find somewhere with proper grub from home. We had the fish and chips and toad in the hole, both of which were great but the fish and chips was something special. Great mash and gravy plus decent pork sausages in the toad in the hole too. We had a... More

A good breakfast spot. I ate breakfast here a few times whilst in Phnom Penh. Its close to the Museum and Art School are on Street 178 which is a nice relaxing part of the Riverside area. Service differed from waitress to waitress, some happy and helpful, some a bit grumpy.

This is the best sunday dinner I have had in Asia. The chicken is massive and the gravy is homemade not some granule stuff. Yum, yum.

It's not often I miss western food but a Sunday lunch when you haven't had one for over 10 months is not only welcome but a godsend! This place sorted me right out! For $7 I got a belter and it was massive! All well cooked and fresh and in a nice setting! The decor in there is very cool!... More

A small "shop house" bar restaurant with 'views' of the riverfront , with good and sizeable portions of food, It also has one of the better "english" breakfast's in town, that will fill you up and sort you out for any day ahead or as a recovery/cure from the night before, including a decent bloody mary if one desires! Always... More

This is a review of my late lunch here on 05MAY11 as a part of my 3 day stay in PNH visiting friends. The Place: The Rising Sun is a small “hole in the wall” type place, located on 178 Street, just about 30 meters off Sisowath Quay (the River Front Street) and serves nothing short of outstanding traditional English/British...
