The best food, without a doubt is the Futtachine with Gorganzola Cheese. Drinks are good. Service is wonderful. We go here at least 4 times on our trip.

Western food and a lot of it! Be patient with chef and staff and they will give you great food. Eat there and relax

This seems to be another place on 172 that has too many good reviews to all be true. I went with a few friends - and we all sampled each others dishes. Mine was average at best, the lasagna tasted like warm wet dog food with ketchup used for tomato sauce. Just not good. Friendly owner though. For Italian in... More

We had a good chance for a chat with a fellow who regularly goes to Phnom Penh for business. (Our bus broke down 1/2 way from Kampot). He suggested that we head to La Dolce Vita for the stuffed chicken breast AND he was right. It was well worth the effort. You know when you have found a good place... More

Tried the Penne arrabbiata, and I can honestly say, its the worst cheap imitation of an Italian dish I have ever tasted. I could only manage two forks of food before paying and leaving never to return. The service was also slow and no interest as to why I left a nearly full plate of food untouched, I got the... More

If you want good food and value for money go to this restuarant. the service is excellent, the proprietor is friendly and nothing is too much trouble to satisfy his customers. I recommend the breakfast in particular the "full monty"where you get 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash brown etc and tea or coffee for $3.75. An additional cup of... More

Fancied a pizza and our tuk-tuk recommended La Dolce Vita. It is down a backpacker street and is a bit of a poky looking place. The staff were ok but not so efficient, having to ask for items a few times, such as salt and pepper, toothpick etc. The pizza itself was fairly ordinary, I’m sure there must be better... More

I enjoyed pasta with oil, chili peppers & extra cheese with a coke and rum for a thrifty price & will be back for more! Nice staff and pleasant cook & owner. :)

PIzza is always top notch, lots of pasta varieties and the calzones are great too. I have seen families with young kids, couples and groups all leave there very happy. Lots to choose from on the menu! And they are not stingy with the drinks either

For an unassuming little place, were were really blown away by the quality of the food we ate at La Dolce Vita. There is nothing remarkable about the look of the place - just another little restaurant along touristy 172 street - but is serves some fantastic Italian fare. I ordered the house pizza - tomato, olives, salami, blue cheese,... More
