Armand's classic menu, which includes steak, duck, baked Alaska and unique personal touch have provided the solid foundations on which his Phnom Penh reputation has been built. Come anytime, you can get a tournedos rossini at 11pm if you want to... With the grace of a master artisan, Armand works before his guests splashing on cognac into a pan before setting it alight and frying the tenderloin in a blue glow. As the flames flicker out, Kampot pepper sauce is added to the pan and Fois Gras is folded in. The meat, ever centre stage, is cooked in the sauce, reaching perfection before being plated. Busy each night with friendly people, you will never regret your visit at Armand's Bistro...

Authentic atmospheric French bistro

Had an enjoyable meal at Armand's. We like the charming, cosy almost romantic ambience. Our French onion soup, charcuterie and Steak were all excellent. Staff were attentive. At times distracted by the boisterous host Mr Armand busily greeting guests at their tables

The place is typical French Brasserie with classic food. My "Mousse de Foies de Volailles" was deliciously smooth and tasty. My Beef tenderloin was good with a tasty Blue Cheese sauce, but the potatoes were too dry. The "Tarte Tatin" was very well caramelized and served with rich "Chantilly" and vanilla ice cream. The owner of the place is representing... More

We went to Armand's and it was really good. The bread and butter they bring is amazing (we were far from home many days, so it felt good :)) For dinner we had duck and ribeye. The meat was delicious...We didn't had wine or dessert. It is a bit expensive but for us it was worthed... :)

We always seek in every city a great meal, we ate here and at Topaz during our stay. We found the food here fantastic, both of us having a different fillet, had wine and drinks and cost half the price of Topaz which is rated #1. The food was just as good here. Since we had an appetizer at a... More

We went here for dinner and were so pleasantly surprised to be disgorged from our chaotic Tuk Tuk ride across the city, into this little corner of France. The dining room is very cool and attractive and the staff were super attentive. The bread and amuse Bouche were delicious and complementary. I had the French onion soup which was very... More

Tucked behind a street market with snails and fish for sale out front, one might easily pass by this surprising treat. The food is excellent and the staff and owner were polite and courteous. The house wine was great and our delicious meal came out relatively quickly! The best part was the bill! I took my date their for her... More

We wandered past and made a booking on our wake back to our hotel. Inside is nice, pretty classic French bistro. 7:00pm, we were the early birds. The crowd seemed mostly expats. The menu pretty classic French, well executed, and printed on the wall (classic and unchanging). Charcuterie was great, a good pate, nice salami and pretty good pork rillettes.... More

I shall be brief . I walked in to check the menu but they don't have hand menu's to read . It is written on a wall on one side . As I was studying it i was then shouted at by the owner for no reason . He appeared very intoxicated. I felt threatened as he was screaming at... More
