Overrated, overpriced bad french food, served by disinterested, hurried waitresses - can't believe this place has received so many excellent reviews! Will certainly not be back!

I was after a good steak in Phnom Penh. Trip advisor stated this may be my place. Dropped in early with no booking, but quickly seated at s table. Ordered the pepper steak, and it was excellent. Well recommended if you want (really) good steak in Phnom Penh.

If you like french food with good wine then this is the place. I got a flambe steak with foie gras sauce and i got a bit shocked when they set fire on the steak. I was looking for the fire extinguisher, but the food was delicious and the wine and cognac collection is good.

This was the most expensive meal I had in Phnom Penh. It cost around $50 for me and one other friend without ordering any wine to go along with my main course. The menu is small and interesting, unfortunately, the food didn't come anywhere close to greatness. None of it was bad either, it was just so so.

Our first visit to Armand's this year was very quiet, probably due to its proximity to ongoing demonstrations against the government at the nearby "Freedom Park." However, we were warmly greeted as usual and had our choice of tables for a change. Skipping starters, we both ordered from the variety of steaks and accompanied them with glasses of the house... Interesting place, but our tournedos Rossini was average (3 people) while the foie gras was good. Armand was bored to look around and my t bone was overcooked. As i said, due to the rating and the comments we had higher expectations than the overall average experience and not cheap we had.

Most French eateries in Cambodia have left me disappointed over the years, but not Armand's. Perhaps it's because he limits his menu to chalk board offerings -- but all classics, like onion soup gratinee, tournedos Rossini, and a veritable slab of foie gras that is well worth ordering. Steaks are a strong point here, but equally duck magret, lentils. Homey... More

From reading the trip advisor reviews on this restaurant, my partner and I felt a trip here was necessary as we are both big lovers of steak and we were not disappointed! The whole evening was perfect, lovely staff, great atmosphere and amazing food! We chose not to order a starter as we wanted to save ourselves for the steaks..... More

Was in town on business and tired of the very troubling fare we had received in the country side. We were very delighted to come across this little oasis of civilization on the streets by one of the big parks....reflecting on, and riffing off of, the French heritage of the city, Armand delivered on all counts...from the appetizer of Charcuterie... This was the second time I have been here and once gain I found the food very good, and a great value for money. I organized a golf tournament in PP and brought 7 of my friends to this place and everyone loved the food. I will always go back to Armand if I am in Phnom Penh, it is... More
