Smiley and helpful staff and the food was good too. They serve excellent brown rice with the meals. I liked it but The Vegeterian ticks slightly more boxes for me.

This small vegetarian restaurant was a really pleasant surprise. I went in attracted by some of the menu selections and left after one of the better meals I have eaten in small "street restaurants" around Asia. For the record, I am not a vegetarian. I started with the "fresh" spring rolls (really Vietnamese summer rolls, and the menu distinguishes from... More

We ate 3 times in the Café Soleil and it was getting worse. First, the proportions are ridiculous, if you're really hungry, leave! The last time we went there was the worst! We ordered two breakfast with bread and tea. After a good half hour, we were served and started to eat but bread was infested with ants. We went... More

Food is carefully prepared and the staff tries hard to please. Nothing earthshaking but a great choice for a quiet, sane meal while in BKK.

Good vegetarian restaurant. O.K. they got my order wrong but food was very good. Excellent green curry; we also had noodle dishes, including a soup with miso, and fried spring rolls. Inexpensive and left very satisfied. Equal second to Evergreen in terms of my experience of veg restaurants in Phnom Penh with Fate, Blessing, Buddha as my number one (although... More

We ate at Cafe Soleil twice and both times the food was average. The dishes were filling and well priced but no where near as tastey as other food we have eaten in Cambodia. Better / tastier vegetarian food can be found at ARTillary.

Firstly, their staff speak little to no English - couldn't understand the word 'sandwich' despite the menu being completely in English. The cafe had pretty much nothing available on their menu. Started off ordering pumpkin soup...no. Tom yum - no. Baguette w hummus - no. Pasta w vegetables - no. Garlic bread - 'take long time sir'. I never got... More
