Lovely food and decor

Dined here with colleagues and upon arrival we all loved the setting in the old colonial villa very much. Very historic and authentic. There are lots of options on the menu and the prices very reasonable. Everyone loved the Fish Amok .

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel manager .Firstly it was empty, secondly the food was very mediocre. The actual place is very nice, the enterance is impressive and it it situated on the top floor that looks out onto a small back street. It was 35 dollars for 2 people which is average for a good meal here. Not really that impressed.

We went to their old location by mistake and so were a little short of time when we got there ... they took care of us in 40 minutes! The fried rice was delicious and they make a great caiporoska.

The restaurant occupies the top floor of a beautifully restored villa, and is very charming. The service was spot on. I was a little disappointed with my food, beef with green capsicum, as I thought it was a little bland. I had expected some sauce perhaps. However, a couple of chillies from a friend's dish pepped it up sufficiently. My... More

Fresh & tasty Khmer food, very friendly service and a beautiful setting. Upstairs above The Deli, this place remains one of the best in town

Our hotel couldn't find us a table at the restaurant we wanted to go tonight on Valentine's Day. They suggested Sugar Palm for our first night in Phnom Penh and booked a table for us. When we arrived there were only three other customers having dinner and a lady with her child having a drink ( did she work there... More

Thank you for you review, Which is rather strange, you choose the right tittle for it. You said food was ok, no complains about service, so I guess food and service were at least decent or good. But the note you gave us was “poor”. By reading you, I understood the reason of not being happy was not because of... More

I find this "new" sugar palm better than the previous one in terms of decoration, atmosphere,... the food is still very good (the sweet & sour soup chicken is my favorite as well as the prohoc) , great cocktails and coffee machine !

Started with crispy fried spring rolls, so light and flavorful, we knew we were in for a good meal. I had the Khmer curry and my husband , the fish amok, both local dishes , and we were pleased with both,The fish is in a coconut based sauce and, here, cooked almost like a soufflé. So rich and layered. The... More

We just got back (Dec 30, 2014) from The Sugar Palm at 19 Street 240 and they're no longer at that location. There's a paper sign hanging out front saying "Opening Soon at 178 St." Their web site hasn't been updated to reflect the move - they really should get on that. It would have saved us (and presumably a... More
