Having tried the Sugar Palm at Siem Reap after rave reviews seen on Trip Advisor, we were greatly disappointed when we tried the branch at Phnom Penh. The menu was exactly the same, but the execution of the food was far from similar. The chef at Siem Reap got it just right and left us wanting for more, hence we... More

Food average. Relaxed casual place. Seating not comfortable. Staff very friendly. Toilet rather disgusting. Has free wifi that actually works.

This is an excellent, reasonably priced comfortable establishment with excellent food and staff and I visit it every 3 months or so when in PP. But why is it always almost empty? And why is it rated so low? It is superior to most of the top rated ones and certainly cheaper.

Great restaurant with wonderful food and service. We tried many dishes and enjoyed a bottle of australia red wine. I forgot the name of our female waitress but she was very sweet and spoke great english.

We went to Sugar Palm for lunch and loved the food. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere (we sat on the balcony upstairs) and the service was prompt and helpful.

My family - wife and two grown up children ate lunch here because it is convenient for our hotel and it was clearly about to rain. - some pleasant shops to browse around in Street 240 including one attached to restaurant. Food was good but not exceptional, probably a bit more expensive than the Phnom Penh norm for its class.... More

Really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. Service was really good. Efficient but not annoying. Atmosphere was really great and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Thank you!

We sat on the upstairs terrace and enjoyed an excellent dinner. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked, the service was very good and we enjoyed the location up above the noise of the street.

We ate twice at the Sugar Palm in Siem Reap and presumed the food in Phnom Penh would be the same, as the menu is the same. The fish amok was definitely not as good so we came away a little disappointed. Good but not great.

After eating at the Sugar Palm in Siem Reap, which was featured on Gordon Ramsay's cooking show and in which the food was fabulously delicious, we thought we would try this, assuming it was the same restaurant. It was not the same in any way except for the logo and menu selections. The standards for food quality here are abysmal.... More
