The Tom Yum Kung soup is awesome. I have been to this restaurant many times and never had a bad experience. The shrimp are good size and there is plenty of seafood and mushrooms in it. I make a point of visiting this place every time I am in town. They also have tamrine clams that I like also, The... More

Food in Phnom Penh is tasty, and this restaurant does not disappoint. It isn't any more special than many places which is why I give it an average rating. Restaurant is popular with the locals.

I went to Tom Yum Kung three times last month and will definitely come again from time to time. I picked up this restaurant the first time as there was quite a few local people inside which is usually a good sign, and frankly I did not go wrong! The restaurant offers very nice Thai food, there's a lot of... More

Randomly chanced upon this place, and decided to dine here as it was teeming with locals (i.e. good sign). Really enjoyed the glass noodles (both beef and tomyum). Very authentic tastes, not watered down for foreigners! Fish amok was not bad as well, and much cheaper than the average Khmer restaurant. Great option if you're in the Street 278 area

We just happened to walk upon this restaurant and had a look at the menu so decided to have dinner there. We were seated in the upstairs air-conditioned section which was a nice escape from the outside heat. There was only one waiter who has to look after the whole upstairs section, so service was a little bit slower than... More

Walking along the streets in PP looking for a restaurant where there are more locals than foreigners. Saw Tom Yum Kung and we had to wait to be seated! There is an aircon area in the second floor. We stayed at the ground floor and it was ok since there were many fans to beat the heat. Reasonable price. Ordered... More

I had the tom yum, green curry and morning glory. Everything was good if not fabulous. It's great value for money though and the service is quick and efficient!

Being in the middle of the tourist ghetto, I wasn't expecting much, but the food here is really very nice. Authentic Thai and Khmer dishes, prepared very well indeed. This is not bland, watered down food for Western tourists. Between the three of us, everything was brilliant. I will absolutely be going back when I return to PP this week.

After some unbelievably uninspiring food in Siem Reap, we were mildly skeptical about Khmer dishes in general (not to mention Tom Yum Kung's rave reviews). Put your worries aside! Tom Yum Kung delivered the tastiest meal we have had in all of Cambodia, on par with anything I have eaten in Southeast Asia. We ordered the Amok Trei (fish), Cashew... More

Yes. You read correct. I asked for a vegetable masaman curry. No tofu. Just vegetables. The photo on the menu showed greens and other bits. So I expected carrot, potato, onions, whatever. They had loads of vegetables on their menu. But what I got was a glorified chips and curry sauce. I ordered French fries, crinkle cut they were, and... More
