Having exhausted all day listening to Khmer language, which I do not understand at all, dinner at Warung Bali as being in Indonesia. Glad to be able to carry on a conversation in Indonesian again. The food is very tasty, the owner Mr. Pirdaus and Mr. Kasmin very friendly. The price is quite cheap. For a moment we forget, that... More

Ordered nasi goreng ayam (fried rice with chicken), came together with pickled vegetable and prwn cracker. Rice was salty and it tasted as if there was so much MSG (monosodium glutamate). I don't recommend to eat here. Mamak's Corner (halal restaurant) near central market is tastier.

Friends took us here several times whilst we were in Cambodia. The food is sensational. The major stand out dishes were the squid that came with a truly serious looking chilli sauce which was not as hot as it looked, it really was a fantastic dish also the rendang beef melted in your mouth and they also has a lightly... Having lived in Jakarta for 5 years I do miss my Indonesia dishes. Warung Bali is a storefront restaurant (no A/C) with limited space and it is always full, and at least 50% with a loyal Indonesian following, which means if they like it, it has to be good. Priced incredibly low, you can eat abundantly for USD 5 per... More

We have found this friendly and colorful place as one of the best indonesian restaurants in Phnom Penh. Contemporary presentation but the original taste. Thats the real deal. Great value for great taste.

The food is very good, not light at all, but tasty. I regret they did not have the "nasi lemak" traditional rice cooked in coconut juice, the best rice in South East Asia. Prices are correct for Phnom Penh, not cheap but correct. I am not sure if the food is really from Bali or just with Indonesian inspiration. I... More
