If you can get a table upstairs on the balcony as you have a nice view over the riverfront. The food was good quality we had spring rolls (okay), Beef luclak & Sweet & Sour chicken which were both very nice. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you're with kids, the walls are covered in drawings and you can... More

Tried this restaurant during the day tour of PP on the recommendation of a friend. In case you are a vegetarian options are much less. Tried a Khmer veg curry with coconut milk. Good place for non vegetarians though.

We picked this restaurant because there was no hard sell to try and get us through the door, the other restaurants near by were all touting for the business by offering the 50 cent Angkor beer. It proved a good choice, not only was the beer just $0.80 the food was lovely, as were the staff, very polite and good... More

Good food with traditional khmer dishes. I had a fish amok and that was good. Service was ok and nice relaxing place. Some tables at the balcony overlook the boulevard.

This place is very popular and gets busy. You can dine outside on the street, inside or upstairs on the balcony. We ate here twice as it was so good. Try the chicken or fish Amok which is excellent. The only downside is they let street vendors which are mostly kids come in to the restaurant to annoy you. Cambodian... More

We had the Beef Amok and Pork Khmer Curries to share and they were very good! Upon recommendation from our tuk tuk driver, we experienced value for money, tasty Khmer cuisine and an all round delightful lunching spot upon the river.

I think my first meal in Phnom Penh was here at the Khmer Saravan. Our receptionist at the hotel recommended the place but I found it too "touristy". The food and service was good but I do agree that you can do better if you look around. The place looks beautiful and cozy and the wall is covered with notes/artworks... More

A really excellent meal in an interesting and well positioned restaurant. Loved the pictures/art work on the Walls done by past customers. Did not like the child hawkers that kept coming in to the tables.

Our flight was delayed causing us to miss our reservation at friends. On a mission to eat only Khmer food in Cambodia we called ahead and Khmer Saravan said they would seat us at 9pm even though thats when they usually close. We hopped in a tuk tuk and although it is on the waterfront Sisowath Quay our tuk tuk... More
