I was served a small portion of raw pork! When I told this to the waitress she audibly tutted, snatched the plate off the table and stormed off. Half an hour later and after the rest of the group had finished their underwhelming meals mine was bought back out again, cooked but only lukewarm as I assume it had been... More

Don't be fooled by the quasi-pretetious way the food is served - the portions are small and the food is horrible. I don't know if they were understaffed when we went but the service was rubbish even by Cambodian standards. We ate at Everest on street 282 a few days before and it was SOOOOOOOOOO much better than Anjali. One... More

We had heard of Anjali and went looking for it on purpose, and we are very glad we did. The food was delicious! It offers a great mix of western and asian styles, and you can taste that it is all freshly prepared. The roast beef salad was one of my favourites, as was the chicken char kdout. Location wise... Being of Indian origin I'm always interested in trying Indian food when in other countries. Visited Anjali as the smell of cooked spices as we strolled past pulled us in. We had chicken tikka kabas, chicken samosas and papads to begin with, followed by prawn vindaloo, chicken jalfrezi and palak paneer, with a couple of naan breads and a paratha.... More

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review about Anjali, it is very much appreciated. It is always an honour to receive positive feedback regarding our Indian food from Indian nationals. Found Anjali to be a charming little place. The staff are friendly and not at all pushy, leaving you alone to read or write postcards. We popped in for lunch and stayed a couple of hours, very laidback. The cheese and salad baguette I had was really fresh and very filling, and my friends nicosia salad was also very tasty... More

Ate at Anjali a few times and it was a great spot for local food before leaving Phnom Penh and flying home. The staff / music / food / atmosphere/ beer were all excellent, just wish it was nearer to home! Will be back to Phnom Penh in a few months so will return for sure.

A friend of mine wanted to eat something indian and we ended up here. of course after tripadvising as we were walking aimlessly and decided to find a indian restaurant near us. We ordered Chapati , vindaloo (spicy), aloo gobi (which had more aloo than gobi) and butter masala chicken(too much butter). Food was average but nice. Ambiance was good... More

The food is excellent at Anjali. After so many rice meals whilst travelling around it's nice to get some real European style meals which are not far off the real deal. Our food was well prepared and tasty. The place is laidback and looks cozy and the staff were friendly. Anjali was a pleasant place to visit and while away... More

Me being a picky vegetarian couldn't find something with vegetables, so I found fried vegetables at the end of the menu. From their hype on Tripadvisor I thought even this dish will be tasty but it was terrible. In a sushi bar in europe I often had tempura vegetables with teriyaki sauce and that was very tasty, but here I... More

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review about Anjali, it is very much appreciated, however we find this review curious as it is factual wrong on most points, perhaps you mixed up Anjali with a different restaurant? You mention you are a vegetarian and ‘couldn’t find something with vegetables’ on the menu. Throughout our menu we have... More

Really enjoyed dinner here - varied menu, tasty food, nice wine! Had the 300g steak and it was really well cooked and certainly good value. Service with a smile, nice and friendly, and 1 buck a beer in happy hour!
