Description: FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

The food here was delicious, western style food with local dishes as well. The service was fantastic, very prompt.

This is a fairly basic open air first floor balcony bar that serves good cocktails and basic food. We went for a drink and had an early dinner - an adequate Nasi Goreng, it's ok, but not what it is ramped up to be. Lacks colonial excellence. The FCC In Siam Reap gets much closer.

We started here for cocktails on the balcony overlooking the river, then ended up eating here too! Excellent choice - such an interesting place, food was really good, service excellent - and the coconut panna cotta was probably the bet panna cotta I had ever tasted!

We went for sun downers and stayed on and had very nice calamari, ribs and chicken kebabs. Yes it might have been cheaper elsewhere but it was a lovely way to spend a few hours watching the world go by.

A great bar and restaurant, offering good food and on tap beer at a ridiculous price. For many, the location is the key to this restaurant, being so close to the action Of Riverside and with a great view of the Mekong River and its traffic. The food is very good, clean and beautifully presented. However, the signature dish was... More

I'm only able to rate this as a VERY GOOD as we did not try the food. However, if the cocktails (the best we had in Cambodia second to Miss Wong in Siem Reap - and do have the Frontline, don't let the wording scare you off), then I imagine the food would be wonderful. The views are lovely. Get... More

A great escape from the daily afternoon monsoon downpour.Upstairs seats by the window give you a wonderful view of the quay and river. Good coffee, cakes and drinks. Perfect at the end of a long day wandering around the central Phnom Penh sites.

A great and al fresco place to have a nice dinner on the "terrace" facing the Tonle Sap river, a great moment :)

Over-priced and over-rated. Glass of water before lunch has dirt-like pieces floating in bottom. This was my third visit over five years and will most likely be last. No problems with waiting staff but food leaves so much to be desired.

I love this place, I visit it every time I go to Cambodia. I love the history of the building, the view, the excellent staff. The coffee and the meals are consistently good. The drinks are great. Sure it is expensive by Cambodian standards, but who doesn't need a treat everyone and then. I have had breakfast there last time... More
