FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Good place to spend a few spare hours working on a hot day

I had a few spares hours to kill and needed somewhere with good coffee and internet. the atmosphere was great and I just sat on one of the old chairs and cleaned out 6 months of emails. Service was good. Steak sandwiches was very nice. Enjoyed the experience.

Everyone that had been to Phnom Penh told us to visit the FCC, but I have to say it was a bit of a disappointment. The building itself was pretty grand, and we were lucky to get a spot nearish the window, with a good view of the river below. But the service wasn't particularly friendly, and while the food... Great atmosphere, nothing else. Watered down expensive drinks, mediocre service, and the worst food in Cambodia, at unbelievable astronomic prices, don't miss it, you truly have to experience this to believe it.

I've eaten at the FCC in 1999, 2011, and 2015, and I would say that overall, the food is very consistent. The FCC meat pizza was a bit disappointing, but the pasta and pulled pork (monthly special) were very good. By far the best meal to be had at FCC is breakfast, which comes with the room if you are... A great place to people watch. Get there just before 5 in the evening for happy Hour.Buy one drink and another appears . If you can get a seat overlooking the river and streets below it really is a wonderful way to wind down after a busy day. Good service .

Lively spot, good food, drinks, views of the waterfront, and historic ambience. The breakfast that came with our room was fantastic -- eggs benedict. Two for one drinks at happy hour. Service could be a bit slow during happy hour.

Got the restaurant recommandended from friends. Very busy place and a booking is advised. The food was quite good, especially their khmer duck. The khmer beef was ok, but could have been more tender. The White Wine" yellow tale" cabernet Sauvignon was exelent.

The FCC was consistently excellent during our week in Phnom Penh. We kept returning there to eat as we knew we wouldn't be disappointed (which we were at just about every other restaurant we tried). The pizzas were absolutely fantastic. Curry = tasty. Good portion sizes. Didn't like the Mediterranean Chicken being served on a metal hanging frame. Great cocktails.... More

The restaurant is very touristy, not clean, the food is bad and the service even worse. Don't go there expecting to feel any atmosphere of the "old" days, it is gone.

We arrived mid-afternoon and after a couple of beers ate an early dinner of salt and pepper calamari, FCC salad and the ribs. All the food was fantastic, especially the ribs which my partner claimed were some of the best he'd had. We then partook of the generous Happy Hour and found ourselves still there chatting to a new friend... More
