THE FOOD... Seriously...THE FOOD

This is a late review, ... short story my bud and I sat next to each other during the lunch; we kept looking at each other making "my goodness this is good" faces during each course. They served with the coffee some little desserts that was "little 1/2 inch squares of deli-sh sunshine" with... read more

I went here with my family on the new year eve dinner which at the same time is also my mom birthday and we had the new year set menu. When we got to the restaurant, we were given a table next to the window just like how I reserved it. Once we are sat down, the waiter responsible for... More

Was there for a business dinner, the food was above average, taking into account that we are in Cambodia, I think they are doing a good job, the dining setting is warm and comfortable, they have private room for business dinner which is convenient if need to finalise some last minute details before flying of. I heard it is quite... More

This is a very western restaurant in the heart of Phnom Penh. The dishes are nice without being memorable, I found the service out did the food actually. Their selection of wine and mixed drinks is substantial but expensive. If you are looking for the fancy wester restaurant in PP for a date or special occasion than this is your... More

There are two kinds of awesome food in the world. There's the kind that blows you away but that you only have every now and then, and there's the kind that you feel like you could eat every single day, for the rest of your life, and never get even the slightest bit tired of it. Pretty much everything I've... More

from the fairy lite trees out the front the ambiance of this restaurant was great. The menu was impressive as were our meals when they arrived we chose a very nice bottle of French red which complemented our meals nicely. The staff all spoke English which made it easier. It's not a cheap place to eat but you will see... More

What are we doing here? Two 20 year olds dropping hundreds of dollars on a dinner. What's the occasion? It's Sunday... duh. We arrived early were seated by a lovely lady maitre d's that pulled my chair out for me. Our bags had seats... Let me repeat. Our bags got seats. Plus seats that probably cost more than my rent.... So we're sitting in the tuktuk after some no-shopping in Aeon Mall, and she was like, "I want foie gras. And escargot." What are the odds that a restaurant that offers both was in a 2min distance? Voila, Topaz! My favorite gemstone by the way... So we stopped in, and it was PACKED. The Cambodian maître d’hotel spoke lovely French,... More

Went to Topaz yesterday and was disappointed. Food very average considering the high western prices. Service was terrible. After main course waited for an hour with no approach from staff. Asked for bill and left. Onion soup very watery. Lobster tails dry tasteless and bit burnt. Sauce was terrible. Best part of meal was salad which did not need cooking.... More
