Steak and red wine

I have been to this restaurant several times and keep coming back. There is a wide range of small plates which are great to share. They have a very good wine list and always have specials on the blackboard. The blackboard specials are hard to beat. But for me its hard to beat the steak with... read more

Went here on a recommendation, and it was probably the best meal we had in Phnom Penh. The riverfront is a bit seedy so this was out only time we came to the area, but the food was excellent, we ordered 6 dishes and they were all excellent, especially the beef satay, beautiful quality large pieces beef and perfectly cooked... This has to be one of my favourite in Phnom Penh centre. The staff are the very professional and friendly. I have visited more than 10 times now and I'm never disappointed. I really like the relaxed ambiance and the friendly service.

It's ben a long time since I've been to this place for food, but I gave it another shot on Sunday lunchtime. The Sunday brunch menu features some discounted meals from their regular menu, and a few that seem only to be served on Sundays. Even with the discount, the food is pretty expensive, especially when they add 5% service... More

After reading reviews of regulars, I don't know what Metro was before which disappoints customers today. But I give this all thumbs up, with not a single disappointment after repeated visits. A remarkably tasty mini burger combo with home made, slightly spiced, great fries; dandy caesar salad, yummy eggs benedict. The seabass on mashed might have been slighty fresher, but... More

Having lived in Phnom Penh some years ago, this was one of my go-to restaurants when I felt like a touch of something interesting but less Khmer. In the past it never failed to live up to its good standards. Sadly, it seems those days have gone. Overall, the meal was quite lack-lustre with a few of the previous stars... More

The Metro Cafe used to be my favourite restaurant/bar in Phnom Penh. In fact, over the years I have written a few glowing reviews. My last visit, however, was disappointing. Although it was a bust Friday night, there was hardly any staff, making service quite slow. Even the food was not as good as before - two of their previous... More

My wife and I dined here for dinner and found the food and staff great. Music is pretty funky as are the small plates that we ordered. Grilled snapped with mash and BoK choy were my favourites. 3 beers 2 cocktails and 5 dishes $61 great value

Great Lunch/Brunch menu. We met some friends with a young baby and the waitresses took it in turns to look after the little one to let his parents enjoy their food. Nice, polite service. I had a Pate & Brie sandwich and my husband ordered the Spinach Benedict and both went down a treat. We would definitely go back again.

Meet colleagues for drinks and dinner. Sat outside, thing started well but just seemed to go downhill. The service here in the past has been hit and miss but one young lady was particularly obnoxious, my female colleague asked for cigarettes and the waitress barked "wait" we where all stunned.. We waited and nothing. We asked again.. We did not... More
