We ate here on the first night of our honeymoon. The whole experience was just wonderful. - Choice of food - Taste - Surroundings - Friendliness of staff and their ability to talk about dishes - Traditional music I had curry steamed in a lotus leaf and is still one of the best dishes I had while in SE Asia.... The diner was almost perfect because of the bad weather, but thanks to the very responsive staff we had an awesome time at Malis. Very warm, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Large choice of affordable gourmet food with generous quantity. Don't miss the fish amok and the amazing pumkin brule. Yes it is a little more $$$ but the quality... More

Firstly the best food I have tasted in Asia in one place during this 8 week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Nice setting, good service. Devine Fish Amok. Cons- eye wateringly expensive given that we are in Cambodia not London! So four stars from me as it was around $80 which I think is way too expensive for a country... More

We had a great dinner here and then returned a couple of days later for lunch. I ordered the fish, and it was perfectly cooked. Moist and juicy. I also had the green mango salad which was really good. The bamboo shoots pot was tasty and we all enjoyed it. The roasted aubergine we very good. Good portions, reasonably priced... More

Great local food period. Some of the best you can get in Phnom Penh. The decor is great too. The problem is service as others had mentioned. For the money, you expect more. The servers are just not engaged enough. Drinks from the bar just took way toooooo long. It wasn't bad. Just wasn't up to par with the food.... More

We had a fantastic meal. We sat outside at the front, the setting is beautiful and the design of the place is quite modern and chic. The food and service were excellent and all 4 of us (adults and kids) loved what we had ordered. Highly recommended.

Recommended by friends who visited earlier this year.firstly brilliant setting. The staff were discreet but attentive. Portions are not huge but very tasty. Definitely worth going to if you have a few dinners in Phnom Penh.

Love the ambience. Expensive place, but that is to be expected. Food, however, was thoroughly disappointing. We had simple dishes, like chicken curry, aubergine, fish with glass noodles and pork sausages. Pork sausages were well cured and had a strong flavour too it. One of the better dishes. The fish had a good flavour to it. Aubergine wasn't anything special... More
