I don't know if it's because I've been spoiled with amazing service everywhere in Vietnam for the last three weeks, but it just found Malis to be a bit sterile. Waitresses barely smiled or even acknowledged me. I think I'm just used to smiles and friendly service everywhere in south-east Asia, and I didn't get that tonight. The food was... More

Of course, it tastes great. someone said it is expensive, it's true as we compare it as other Khmer restraunt in Cambodia. But It's worth to come there if you don't care much about costs. Especoally, my favorite food is Pumpkin Creme Brulee ( かぼちゃブリュレ in Japanase.) I really recommend this.

This place is very popular and gets busy. You can dine outside, inside or upstairs in the VIP room. We ate here twice as it was so good. Service was ok and nice relaxing place.

Reviews were right, food is delish here! No wonder it's packed full at night. We ordered the Malis pork sausages which is the best ive tried by the way, stuffed chicken wings and sour soup. Really good, this resto is highly recommended if you're in area.

Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, Fish Amok, .... Don't even bother with anything else, the Fish Amok is the greatest thing ever. Flavorful, tasty and unique.

being a vegetarian, we asked for something to eat. Were offered steamed vegetables and rice. It became the most expensive item we were to experience in the whole of Cambodia [$11] while all other items [to the best of memory] were less than $10

It was recommended by the receptionist of the hotel I stayed, just few minutes walk from there. I found this local restaurant was a very high standard and quality. They served Cambodian foods in stylish and very good taste. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste real Cambodian dishes.

Been to Malis twice, for my opinion the food was very good especially the fish amok, for my Cambodian friend it was good too, but not really authentic like in his hometown. Some dishes had surprisingly small portions and other could have been eaten by two, but everything was reasonably priced.

The restaurant is in downtown and a short Tuk Tuk from the pier. Back in the US, it would be a $35 entree sort of place in terms of both food quality and setting. Here, most of the entrees are about $7.00 and they are wonderful. Most tables are in a secure courtyard setting, but you can also sit inside.... More
