Description: Malis is a landmark restaurant that has long enjoyed a reputation for pushing the boundaries of fusion food with traditional, original and new age Cambodian cuisine. With capacious seating and four VIP rooms set in a courtyard around a fountain, it is undeniably the capital's premier gourmet dining experience. Its busy kitchen is home to Luu Meng, Cambodia's only masterchef, whose artfully prepared dishes have graced tables around the world.

Nice restaurant with a nice ambiance. Definitely a get what you pay for experience. This sentence is to complete the irritating 100 character minimum.

Our hotel (TEAV Bassac Boutique Spa and Hotel) recommended this restaurant as it was only two minutes away by foot. What a recommendation! Definitely a first class experience and a great introduction to the varied cuisine of this country. The menu offers dishes from provinces in Cambodia and each plate is a delight, though I can't say I tried all... More

I am glad I followed the advice of a review by booking via email before we went because we saw a few walk in people being nicely turned away. The service was wonderful and the food delicious (very tasty, well portioned and beautifully presented). Definitely not pricey when you see what you get.

We had the opportunity to go there for a romantic diner last month. Service was very good. Food met our high expectations. Definitely not too expensive for a place like this.

If there's any restaurant that best represents the future of Cambodian food, Malis is definitely it. So far, the restaurant has been a pacesetter in the culinary explosion happening in the city and even after years of revisiting the restaurant over and over again, the food still remains exciting. A must try for anyone visiting Phnom Penh!

We sat in the courtyard which was nice. The menu offered a variety of choices. All were delicious, but both of our favorites by far was the giant shrimp and roasted eggplant. The shrimp were grilled, cooked perfectly. And the flavor of this dish was outstanding. Very busy so sometimes a wait.

Very disappointing for some reason. The food is average, nothing special but very pricy. Way too expensive for khmer food. The location is very good and the atmosphere is beautiful. The staff is ok, not very motivated but nice. I wouldn't go back there anytime soon.

High quality. The food was super prepared. International and local cuisine. Super and professional service. Select the garden if the weather is good - a good atmosphere. Good wine selection at reasonable price An exclusive enjoyment you elsewhere in the world would pay 10 times as much!

The menu serves all the renowned Cambodian dishes but with their own twists. Food was superb and full of flavor, no complaints there. Service was friendly although a bit on the slow side. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the outdoor setting.

Lovely restaurant, gracious service, fine tasting food. The menu was varied enough for my picky tastes. Asian style was mellow, not too spicy. i had the most delicious spare ribs with a honey sauce. There was a good wine selection and the service was perfect. From one who comes from the NY metropolitan area, the prices are stunningly low. It's good... More
