Delicious first night

Food here is done superbly. I had chicken and ginger with a side of green beans. I was most impressed that I didn't have to have any rice with my meal (I don't like it, and invariably leave whatever I'm given behind). It's easy to eat a healthy, balanced meal here that is also scrumptious. The... read more

This is one of the unknown and very stable french food restaurant in Phnom Penh with an extensive menu, plat du jour, sets and nice service. On top of that the pricing is very competitive and you can eat for below $10 easily. They have delicious steak tartar, excellent minced beef (not on the menu) and a wide selection of... More

It was our first night back in Phnom Penh and we were looking forward to returning to La Marmite. When we arrived there was nobody in the restaurant, which we found unusual as when we had visited in the past it was always pretty full. My wife ordered cappaccio of Swordfish and I had Charcuterie the starters were just OK.... More

The restaurant is a bit dark and shabby, but the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They serve a "plat du jour" (daily special) that will set you back 9.75$. Well worth it. I had the charcuterie (cold cuts) for starters and the chipolata sausages with Mashed potato with mustard as my main course. I... More

Once you step inside you would think you are back in France, with some wonderful uncomplicated French cooking. I have a great little filet steak with green pepper sauce, the haricot verts were perfumed nicely with some fried garlic, the frites were just right. To finish I had tarte à la rhubarbe, my wife had a very authentic mousse au... More

Nice relaxed atmosphere combined with interesting and delicious French cuisine. Short walk from the night market. Highly recommended if you want a change from Cambodian flavours during your time in Phnom Penh

I picked this restaurant as I was looking for some french cuisine at lunch whilst in Phnom Penh. I live in Penang so a bit of a street food snob, thus fancied some finer dining! I wasn't disappointed. A great quality of food (I took the goats cheese and bacon parcels for starter, followed by smoked herring with potatoes and... More

We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. It was really quiet and had a small debate in front of the restaurant because of the exterior and the hordes of tuktuk drivers in front of the door. Please ignore all of this. Once you come in the restaurant is quite inviting and the food is excellent. Didn't try the wines... More
